If you are in a tent or small trailer that means that you rely on the restroom/shower facilities of the campground--you should know that they really skimped on the facilities-- one modern stall for men, two modern stalls for women and two showers TOTAL for the whole campground. They seemed to assume that almost everyone would be in large RVs with their own restrooms. But the actual use includes a significant number of texts, small camping trailers.
Also, they don't seem to pick up any of the random trash left be campers-- lots of plastic bags, plastic bottles, trash randomly around the campground.

We really enjoyed the tour and the tastings! Just not come on an empty stomach or you may get a little loopy! Really a great place to bring a date. We thought the bar was well priced for their flights of whiskey. Staff really makes it a memorial experience!

Enjoyable hiking but watch out for lots of mountain bikes. Can hike around the base on a fairly level trail or hike to the summit via multiple trails--all are steep in places but well-maintained. Kudos to those who have worked to slow erosion by closing off social trails and shortcuts and restoring those areas. Great wild flowers in spring. Rattlesnakes present in warmer months. Mountain lions occasionally pass through. Nice views in all directions (Denver, mountains) from the summit

Outlet mall offering the usual array of shops, excluding Northface, Columbia, Mountainwear, Disney Store. Having said that, bargains to be had.
From downtown Denver, bus 16 or 16L (limited stops,so much quicker) to Colorado Mills is easy. $2.60 each way, which you can purchase on board.

Kendrick Lake park is a really nice family park. The park has a very nice, up to date, jungle gym and swing area with appropriate equipment for children of all ages as well as open fields to throw a ball or frisbie around, covered picnic area and a beautifule garden walk. The best part, however, is the path around the lake, wjhich is a one-mile paved path that is perfect for walking, running or riding a bicycle around. The one-mile lap makes it easy to track your distance. the park is also clean and well maintained.

This is one of our favorite weekend destinations in Denver. It's a beautifully kept, fascinating place with various types of gardens, fantastic flowers, tucked-away corners with benches, reflection pools, fountains, ponds, and a jaw-dropping tropical greenhouse. There are regular sculpture and art exhibits, concerts, a couple of great little restaurants, some great permanent exhibits. There is a children's garden that is fun for kids under 10, the gift shop has really nice things, and the annual plan sales are great.

Path around a lake. Can see several types of birds, deers and even coyotes. Good place to walk with children and pets. Benches around to enjoy view.

this is a small museum, but full of interesting and great things inside. Well presented in a good manner. Art fans will really the experience.

This is such a great place to stroll through any time. There is so much to see. Plus the annual events are a real treat! Sounds Exciting Summer Concerts, Cider Days, Lakewood Lights and more. What a wonderful place. I hope you get a chance to explore it.

Newer construction allows for people to flow freely. You can still get good tickets cheaper than places like Yankees stadium or Wrigley field. Beer is predictably expensive and the food is predictably greasy. HOWEVER!!!!! You can bring some of your own and buy them out front. That’s a nice treat in my opinion
