Public Transport to Kungur Ice Caves from Perm Best get there as early as possible as the tours get filled up quickly. 2 options by bus or train. Bus option You will need the bus to Lysva  (via Kungur) No 677. Will take 1hr 35mins and arrives at train station.  Give yourself about 20 mins to buy the bus ticket. On one occasion it took 1min the other it took over 15mins to buy our tickets as they wanted passports of all travellers. Train option  From Perm 2 train station you will need the local/sub urban train (not Trans-Siberian). Aim for 7.20am. Ticket office is on the road side in a separate building to the right of the car park, in front of the main railway terminal building. You cannot buy these tickets from inside the terminal building. It takes just over 2 hours but costs 180Rbs. Cheaper than the bus. Once at Kungur. Go to the bus stop to the right of the front of the train station and take the No 9 bus to Filipovka to the last stop. Approx 5 mins. On reaching the end stop, go back to the main road, walk uphill for approx 50m andtake the left road/lane and follow this for 500m and it will take you to the Ice Caves. Return to Perm Take the No 9 back from where you got off to Kungur train station. Check when next train is. If you are lucky it may not be long otherwise it couldbe over4-5 hrs wait. The alternative is to go by bus. The bus station is to the left of the train station. There are buses back to Perm for 277Rbs but check which bus station it takes you to.
