My girlfriend and me went here today through a Groupon voucher. The park was amazing! The birds where beautiful and it was awesome to see them fly, even a wee sneeky view of ana the Andean condor who was magnificent! The staff where so knowledgeable that you couldn't help but share their passion! And who knew vultures were so cool!

A wonderful compact and beautiful place to take your family for a little fresh air. The walled Gardens have their own unique set of vegetation. The small paths that climb up around the Glenn are picturesque and beautiful with old stone build Bridges that date back hundreds of years. The curling pond is the original pond started the entire sport and during the summer months you often see swans out there gliding around. The long swooping grass down to the bandstand, made of stone, allows for many picnics and picturesque views. Tributes to various historical events - The Battle of Kilsyth - are also inscribed in the different monuments. If you have extra time to kick around this piece of Historic Scotland is well worth the visit.

Glasgow and the west of Scotland's industrial heritage relied on location, via the Clyde and the tobacco/cotton/sugar trade, resources from Lanarkshires coal and iron reserves, education following the reformation, and entrepreneurial acumen.
Summerlee provides insight into technology , industry and manpower that provided still and iron for the industrialisation that made Glasgow pivotal in the latter half of the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century's transport revolutio.
Beautifully presented, free and with abundant free parking this gem contrasts starkly with a town that was once the most polluted in the world.

I booked what is called a "Taster Session" where you spend just an hour with different birds. And what an amazing hour that was. Graeme is full of knowledge about the birds, and he was sharing it with us during that hour. Besides getting the information about each bird, we also had a hands-on experience handling them, and that was totally amazing. Too bad we had only an hour in our schedule that we could allocate for this experience. I think if you can book a day or half-day, you will not be disappointed.

Had a great day but after the howling rain of the few days before our visit on 19 April 2013, it was a nightmare going round for me. I was accompanying my husband and the day was incredible warm and sunny but the wetness of the fairways etc made it like a quagmire and I was in thonged sandals! Needless to say it was slippy and slidy all the way for me and hard work! Couldn't caddy but I had a good excuse as I could hardly walk! Nice course though. Xx

Another great meal from this place. Have been here a few times but time to leave a review.
I had a rump steak done med/rare. It was one of the best steaks I have had out of a restaurant. I was done to perfection, very juicy and tasty. The other three meals were also spot on. Hunters chicken and penne pasta along with the nachos all hit the spot.
For desert the chocolate brownie went down a treat along with a very good apple and blueberry crumble with custard. Full to the brim and a very reasonable cost.
A place to try if you are looking to try somewhere different. Screens all around with sports on and also an beer garden with cover if needed.
I will be back soon for another steak!
