Chateau de Kaysersberg

Kaysersberg in general is an absolute must! This town is so quaint and beautiful. We felt as though we were transported back in time and on set of the "Beauty and the Beast" story. You can take the stairs to the top of the Chateau or you can walk on a path that winds through a vineyard. Both get you to the top, but one is a bit more scenic. So much to see!

Eglise De l'Invention De La Sainte-Croix

This was a surprise we did not expect. A very nice church, with a humble entrance (nice stone carvings) and many interesting statues inside. Like the gigantic Christ figure that's hanging in the middle, the beautiful depiction of the way of the cross above the altar, and the many other old statues, like the Saint (Fridolin?) with the little figure with a skull for a head.

Pont Fortifie

As well as being a very attractive little bridge, it is a simple fact that wherever you stand on or near Pont Fortifie, there is a fabulous photograph to be taken. Kaysersberg is a beautiful village, and the area by the bridge is definitely one of the most beautiful spots for photography opportunities.

Office de Tourisme de la Vallee de Kaysersberg

Reviewed By chiseen

I found the Office of Tourisme and requested some information on how to get to Riquewihr which is only about 5km away. The staff, an experienced female and a younger male, were both very helpful. Upon requesting a bike they offered me an e-bike which I had never ridden before but highly recommend since the vineyards you pass through can be hilly. It made the entire visit to Kaysersberg worthwhile (I was visiting from Colmar for the day). The ride took about 20-25 min each way and was a very easy route to follow. Bikes could be rented for half a day, e.g. 9am-12pm, or a full day. Can't recommend this activity high enough!
