Karpathos (Greek: Κάρπαθος, Greek pronunciation: [ˈkarpaθos]) is the second largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands, in the southeastern Aegean Sea. Together with the neighboring smaller Saria Island it forms the municipality of Karpathos, which is part of the Karpathos regional unit. Because of its remote location, Karpathos has preserved many peculiarities of dress, customs and dialect, the last resembling those of Crete and Cyprus. The island has also been called Carpathus in Latin, Scarpanto in Italian and Kerpe in Turkish.

Some form of clothing is a must if you want to relax on this beautiful beach.
Nice beach with clear blue water. The beach is organized so you can rent sun-beds and umbrella. Also there is a taverna for lunch or for a coffee if you want. I think that is a beach that you have to visit!

Located behind the airport, a sandy beach with blue clear water. Very windy but water is not deep for a lot of meters. Organised with umbrellas and a new tavern. Ideal for people who like to visit corners on the island, people who like wind and adventure.

One of the best beaches on Karpathos, small village with lovely sandy beach. In the surrounding you can find some supermarkets and few restaurants/bars!

Very peaceful beach blessed with super clean turquoise waters. One of the best places in Karpathos, I'll be back to enjoy this corner of paradise.

First when we browsed through the internet for beaches in Karpathos we didn't find Pigadia beach to be the most beautiful comparing to other beaches. But when we arrived and saw what gem we had 5 minutes from our hotel we were stunned. Off course that there are more beautiful beaches but this one made me relax and have a good day’s rest.
