We already know it is the coolest theater around...but what I want to add today is that the customer service is outstanding. I had a special issue come up and they fielded multiple, I'm sure annoying, questions on my part over the course of two days. They always answered me promptly and were always super friendly. It was clear that they take their business seriously. I highly recommend this theater!

The Lazy 5 Ranch

Reviewed By Michael Y - Valdosta, Georgia

The Good: good family entertainment, fairly priced, friendly staff, a wide variety of animals to view, feed, and interact with.
Now the Bad and Ugly: This attraction is in terrible need of some tender loving care by the owners. I found the Lazy 5 Ranch to be dirty, trashy and in a state of disrepair. Animals and birds in confined areas either had identification placards missing or barely readable due to age and weather damage. There was trash in and around some of the exhibits along with dead and decaying cactuses and plants. Some exhibits were dirty with stagnated pools of slime green water. All the pathways are gravel and dirt. Wear old shoes! Not suitable for wheelchair access either. If you just want to be able to see and feed a few animals—OK, don’t expect much more. Otherwise , go to the zoo.

Tiger World

Tiger World is an animal conservation and educational center dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation of exotic animals. We are open to the public for educational guided tours and walkabout self-guided tours. Tiger World is a different kind of Zoo. Our tours personally guide visitors throughout the preserve learning about each animal. You see them in a natural setting and have the opportunity to observe them playing, swimming, eating, sleeping, and interacting with their handlers.

This is NOT a zoo. These are rescued/donated wild animals. They are magnificent creatures. Our daughters love big cats. They have a lot of tigers, lions, some ligers as well as other animals (bear, gibbons, baboon s, kangaroo, wolves, etc.) You can't get really close to them (except through glass) they are still "wild"-- don't expect to have your pic taken with a tiger. It was really hot when we visited, so most of the animals were trying to stay cool in the shade-- one tiger was chilling in a big tub of water. The gibbons were talky.

They sell cups of mixed feed. We bought 3. The ducks geese, and peacocks KNOW the cups. They will follow you and come right up to you. My o e daughter got freaked out because they were swarming around d her. Don't try to hand feed them! We let the peacocks peck right from the bucket. There were swans on lots of turtles in the pond. Don't forget to feed the turtles too! Don't buy the feed if you don't want a feathery entourage!!!

I liked the serval. I don't think it had enough space though and didn't get as much attention as it deserved.

Don't wear you "good" shoes, there is a lot of goose poop around the pond area.

China Grove Roller Mill

Reviewed By cheryl h - Durham, North Carolina

The Mill was built in 1903 and they said the walls were 22 inches thick from bricks made locally. The small office in front was built in 1945. The mill machinery you see is original to the building. They have strange hours so I would recommend calling before you show up. There is no charge for the tour and they also have a farmers market there certain months out of the year.

I stopped by here while in the area and visiting multiple NASCAR shops. While there aren't a lot of displays to specifically see, this shop has one of the best areas to actually see the ongoing shop operations through large glass windows. There are also displays to show the garage process. When I was there I was able to see three of the four crew chiefs meeting behind the glass wall so that was neat to see. The gift shop is well stocked with many items.

Architect Stan Gentry designed this 6,609-yard, 18-hole golf course that features A-1 Bent greens and Bermuda fairways.

Reviewed By MarkS719 - Mooresville, North Carolina

Have enjoyed playing the Warrior for at least seven (7) years. The greens are consistently good and the course is well maintained. This is not a splashy country club, however, it is fun tract around a beautiful lake (water supply for Landis, NC). There are some houses along the front side, however, the back winds around the lake where there are no houses.

The staff are always very friendly and they have a new bar area which is an enjoyable enhancement to their restaurant/sandwhich shop. Outside the bar/restaurant you can enjoy a cold one on a covered deck overlooking the 18th hole. They have a nice driving range and practice green.

Overall the Warrior offers very good value and I highly recommend it.

This is the best nite of the week for baseball!! Even though a ballgame in summer months is nice anytime....
Cheap draft beer makes it sooo much better. This stadium is so very nice. Doesn't hurt that our ball team is good too.
Very nice way to enjoy an evening with the whole family.
