Lord Krishna is referred to as Dwarkadish as he was the King of Dwarka. Lord Krishna is the presiding deity of Dwarkadish temple. Original temple at this temple's site is said to have been built by Krishna's great grand son Vajra which was ruined over time. Current structure is a 16th century temple. The temple has an enchanting statue of Lord Krishna in chaturbhuj form - four hands portraying him as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. There are small temples in premises of Balaram, Satyabhama, Jamvanti, Revathi etc. It's well maintained temple. The swargadwar gate of the temple opens towards Gomti ghat.

Lakhota Talav

Reviewed By AlexSwallow - Rajkot, India

Wow this lake is such a special place! The area feels historic but there has clearly been a lot of money invested recently, the running track (some 2km) around the lake is phenomenal.
We arrived about an hour before sunset (our first visit to Jamnagar) and can't have been more impressed. We saw so many birds and then around dusk the bats started to wake up and swoop over the lake, they were amazing.
There are lots of nice sculptures, museums, places to eat, Fountains.....I think they are still finishing a bit of the work, but this is a wonderful place and a real jewel of Gujarat in my view.

Ranmal Lake

Reviewed By Sivakumar V - Bengaluru, India

This Ranmal Lake also known as LAKHOTA TALAV is a large one , a cooling agent for the city. With a number of gates to enter into, this presents a beautiful sight. A good pavement is available for strolling. Supposed to be visited by rare birds- but it was not the time when I visited the same.
It could be well maintained with additional attraction to make it a truly tourist destination. Shady trees, play park for kids, provision of clean drinking water may be provided. It can become a competitor to Kankarea Lake in Ahmadabad

Beyt Dwarka Beach

Reviewed By Rajani B

You need to take a ferry from the Okha jetty on the Mainland to reach Bet Dwarka island. This is an island which has temples and this serene Bet Dwarka beach. The white sand and clear water of the Arabian sea marks this beach. Visitors mostly visit the island for it's temples and only few make their way to the beach. Hence you can enjoy peace and calmness here.
