This castle situated beautifully outside Hassleholm are not the typical European castle. So compared with those Castles this is a grade three to me, but for being Hassleholm it would be a grade four and almost a must in when in Hassleholm. The main tower with its massive gate still with bullet holes from the battles in the 15-century between danish, rebellion and occupying Swedish forces are a piece of interesting history in the backwater of the big picture.
There are plenty of signs in English and Swedish, but to get the full picture I would recommend a guided tour. To visit the castle apartments you'll need to join a guided tour. Free parking, a restaurant and a museum shop are available. Don't miss the diorama displays in the side buildings. The area around the castle includes ruins from a small village and there is also a garden with an orangery. The castle also hosts art Exhibitions, Concerts, theatre and story telling nights - mainly in Swedish thou.

Wanna change the atmosphere around you during the hot summer day in a fraction of a minute , hop in the Tykarp cave , the temperature will drop to 8 degree. Bring a coat with you no matter how funny it sounds.
The foto with candle lights is what i expected but i didnt see it at all inside the cave, however it is a great trip that i wont forget.
If you use GPS to locate the cave, dont. It will take you to the middle of nowhere. Right after you see the parking lot, all the houses on the left side are the cave , cafe and the reception of tykarp slott. Just go there instead of walking straight.

I took my wife for a spa, and this was really nice. The smallest possible spa, hidden in an abandoned military base. A little difficult to fine but hey. The guy in charge was competent and polite. Foot massage, back and neck massage, bath tub with interesting oils, all of it with a nice view through the woods. It's a little hidden gem somewhat off the beaten track.

Museet speglar väl den militära tradition, med två på sin tid betydelsefulla regementen, som funnits i stan. På museet finns ett stort antal fordon - stridsvagnar och hjulburna - och massor av annan militär materiel. Dessutom har brandförsvaret en välordnad avdelning på museet

Fantastisk sted til en sommer dag. Ligger langt inde i skoven. Det er det dejligt område med gratis adgang. Jeg besøgte stedet med 11 kollegaer og havde lavet en Quiz med spørgsmål omring historien på Hovdala, så de også fik lidt baggrundsviden om stedet.
Stedet er velholdt og dejligt at besøg en solskinsdag. Der var mange smukke blomster. Der findes en cafe på stedet.
Kan varmt anbefale at besøge stedet hvis man er i området. Stedet egner sig også til en picnictur.

This house was built around year 2000, and is perfect for Concerts both for small or large groups. It also contains a restaurant and a common library. Very suitable for all cultural groups.

Perfekt för nybörjare med pedagogisk och en pro med stort tålamod. I allmänhet en lugn och tillåtande atmosfär som är bra när man ska lära sig att spela golf. Trevliga skogspartier intill banan och en del vattenhinder men även bunkrar att spendera tid i.

En rad ganska nyanlända vandringsleder finns i anslutning till Hovdalaområdet. De delar av lederna som vi har besökt håller hög klass, men kan ibland kräva lite ur konditionssynpunkt. Inte sällan bjuds det ett ganska kuperat landskap. Anlagda rast/grillplatser finns på utvalda ställen längs lederna. Ett tips är att kolla kartan som finns på Hässleholms kommuns hemsida. Hammarmölle damm är en personlig favorit.
