High 5 Ballooning

Reviewed By tripman539 - Boston, Massachusetts

Excellent adventure from start to finish. When you take a flight with High 5 Ballooning, you will quickly get the impression that Tony Sica [owner and pilot] runs his business with one question in mind; “If a were a client, what would define the perfect flight experience for me? As it is with most things in life, it is the small things, the little details that matter, from a clearly enthusiastic pilot, to having the balloon chasers taking photographs from the ground along the way, to the nice picnic at the end in a nice, scenic area.

As a person who has flown in balloons many times over the years in different locales and varied conditions, Tony is at the top of the list. He will work with you to make your flight experience a memorable one. From my experience, there are two kinds of people who provide a good or service: Those who do their job and those who do their job well. Tony certainly fits the latter category and is the consummate professional from start to finish. Thanks, Tony <and Chase Crew>!

Zorvino Vineyards

Reviewed By Linda G - Salem,NH

My cousin Nick married Nicole this past Friday. The wedding took place at Zorvino's Vineyard in Sandown,NH. The grounds were very nice and of course decorated with all types of fall flowers and pumpkins etc. While they were taking pics we went to a wine tasting for $5. I'm not really into sweet wines but the Reisling and the Mano wines were very good. There was also one with tones and spicy. We had bacon wrapped scallops, steak teriyaki, stuffed mushrooms ans marinated chicken that were distributed by wait people. All were fantastic. There was a cheese, veggie, fruit and cracker buffet that would make you cry. It did me. I'm the Queen of Cheese and these past few weeks I've been abstaining to diet. Well I fell off the wagon. The Brie OMG and the hot spinach and artichoke dip❤️. For the main course I had the prime rib, cooked to perfection. My husband had the chicken with cranberry bread stuffing, what little there was. He said it was just ok. At the end of the night there was pizza which was also very good. The place itself is very nice for a wedding. Of course the bride and groom were the highlights of the night. Congratulations Zorvino's for making their day special.

My BFF had a Groupon so we decided to try this little gem. The people who run it are so nice and it is very cozy. The wines are good particularly the dry reds. What we loved was the big hunk of cheese and crackers as an accompaniment with the wine. We chatted, tasted and ate for a long time. They are very generous with their tastings. I was itching to bring home some organic eggs but they had run out. I highly recommend this winery but plan to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Canobie Lake Park

Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire has over 85 Rides, Games, Live Entertainment and Attractions, including our wild roller coaster, UNTAMED!

Reviewed By John D - Manchester, New Hampshire

Canobie is a nice example of an old fashioned park. It’s popular with locals and even crowded at times. Once you’ve seen Disney, six flags, or Universal, it’s tough to go but it’s cute; quaint really. It has boat rides on the lake and a tiny train running through the park. It has water rides and a decent coaster.

We've visited Searles Castle many times for various parties and functions, and the grounds and the Castle itself are really special. The property is very well-maintained and sits high up on a hill in southern New Hampshire surrounded by beautiful trees and winding paths. If you're in the area, check to see whether the Castle is open. It's definitely worth a visit.

A & A Balloon Rides

Reviewed By dee612016 - Dracut, Massachusetts

The pilot, Andre, and his crew are amazing and made sure everyone was having fun. They are professional, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. Andre has lot of experience. We flew with two other balloon companies and Andre has trained both of the pilots. We were all encouraged to help out with all the launch preparations which was definitely part of the complete experience they gave us. The flight was fantastic and Andre would spin the balloon so everyone could view the spectacular scenery! We had a champagne toast after the flight and the pilot and crew shared ballooning history. I would definitely recommend A & A Balloon Rides!!

Mack's Apples

Reviewed By MeganZopf - Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire

I stopped by to get some apples and fresh vegetables a couple of days ago. I was more interested in the vegetable than the apples, however my daughter did buy apples and pie. I bought some green peppers and I decided to buy a homemade chicken pot pie that was frozen. I was told by one of the employees they were delicious so I took her word. I bought the one that had peas and carrots because some do not. It is labeled as Aristocrat Chicken Pot Pie White Meat With Peas and Carrots. Let me tell you it is about as close to homemade as you can get! It was a perfect meal and delicious! I'll make a trip back before the season is over to buy a couple more. I am sorry this review is more about the pie than apple picking. I have picked apples there in previous years though. The homemade pie my daughter bought was also delicious. It had the crumb top verses crust but it was good. This was also frozen and had to be cooked. I recommend stopping by before the season is over!

Yoga Room

A great yoga studio to visit while on your trip!!

Reviewed By Albert S

Run by the effervescent Maggie, I have been attending classes for over 10 years. Warm, personal attention with a no stress atmosphere, I am indebted to this studio for keeping my arthritic back pliable enough to waterski at age 58 and perform 12 hour days of dentistry. Every class is a new adventure, so it never becomes boring and routine. Drop ins are welcome. Lots of choices for different time slots and a variety of classes. I would never go anywhere else.
