Wexford Lavender Farm

Wexford Lavender Farm, Ireland's first dedicated organic Lavender Farm. Located in beautiful countryside in North Wexford off the beaten track. Two acres of Lavender plants, woodland walks (3 routes ranging from 2 - 7 kilometres) Restaurant, giftshop, outdoor playground, plant sales (summer months), quad barrel train ride

Good place to spend an hour or two. Wonderful smell in the lavender field! Did the woodland walk which was very mucky but to be expected at this time of year. Nice gift shop. Meals looked wonderful in the coffee shop but we just had drinks so can’t comment on the food. Playground suitable for young children. A very pleasant way to spend a few hours. Only complaint was that the directions on apple maps were off. Lead us to a field in the middle of nowhere. We were approaching it from the west and I’d say the directions are better and easier from the M11.

We were passing Wells House in January & decided to drop in for some lunch. The menu had some lovely choices (for midweek in January) so this was a pleasant surprise. We chose sandwiches & soup but have to say the sandwiches in particular were some of the best we've ever had! We also had dessert as they looked so tempting & they tasted just as good as they looked! They were all beautifully presented by the chef who was on hand at all times. What a treat on a cold January day! We had a lovely walk in the surrounding grounds afterwards & Wells House has many options planned for the coming seasons, so worth keeping an eye out for!

The woods can be accessed at many different points but all paths eventually lead you to the sea. As you get close to the sea you can hear the surf crashing and the view of the sea through the trees is pretty unique. Fantastic place for dog walking and exploring.

This is a fab place. A masterpiece of fun construction really
Our group, consisting of four children, one mum and myself, (The Nanna) spent a day in Pirates Cove and what a great day! Three generations of us laughed, played and had great fun playing crazy golf, riding bumper boats, zorbing and generally acting the big child! The saff are so great here, every single one of them are so helpfull and friendly. Well trained staff are such a great asset to any company and the Pirates Cove staff are really to be congradulated!
If I may give a bit of advice though. Some of the timber is showing its age and needs replacing. Dont let this great place deteriorate.
Wecome back every year and always have a great time
