Loved the hike...the top was well worth scaling the icey conditions up (given we went in March). Would highly recommend appropriate attire and research conditions before going during this time of year. May not be appropriate for young children given the icey conditions we encountered. Great hike overall though!! Will definitely be back! Enjoy!

This was a great hike for a couple! Do note it is not a easy hike by any standards but is definitely worth it. Plan on Parking to be a pain but it sounds like they are addressing this by shuttling people in sometime in the future.

We walked for hours on this beautiful paved trail. Not many bikers around- and we loved the views of the river and the canyon- the Amtrack train in fact runs parallel to the canyon walls and the river- the passengers must have drop-dead views! The only not so good part if this trail is that it os so close to, next to, and in parts, under the interstate, that the noise of the constant traffic continuously invaded the peace and beauty of our walk.

Never skied here before -- first visit. Runs are not very long - in comparison to other Colorado resorts, but the value for the money is very hard to beat! Slopes were in good condition for March, and although it was mid-week, it was incredibly slow in terms of skiers on the mountain. We had several runs where we felt like the only people on the mountain! Never a wait for a lift!

I love caves, So I wanted to check these out I didn't expect to find a whole theme park on top of the mountain.
The gondola ride up and down was very enjoyable, the caves were very nicely presented and with historical information on the finding of the caves.
The Alpine Coaster was a blast and a must Ride for any thrill-seekers out there!
My Wife and sons (21 and 24) and oldest sons GF (23) went and loved Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park .
Oh and try the swing that sends you over the edge!!!

Doc Holliday may be my biggest historical crush and I felt it necessary to pay homage at his grave when traveling through the area. The hike was much easier than expected (if you fairly fit it should not be too bad) and there were very good informational signs. I was disappointed that it was not actually his grave but the reasoning behind it and the display of the different designs was interesting. The views were great.

We did the first couple miles of this trail as we were leaving Glenwood Springs. I am so glad we did as it was just beautiful. The trail was rather easy and we took many photos. I especially liked that the trail was not crowded.

The Roaring Fork Valley has so many beautiful spots to see and places to visit. Camping, hiking, off-roading, fishing, history, old buildings and wildlife! One of the best times to visit is in the fall when the aspen leaves are changing. True Colorado beauty!

The trip is a long hike straight up a hill on a dirt/gravel path. We wondered how they got the bodies up there until we reached the top and saw the not-so-steep gravel road coming in from the other side.
Viewing Doc Holliday and Kid Curry's monuments (their actual grave sites are unknown) was interesting, as well as those of some of the other people buried there.
Would I do it again? No. But we were stuck in horrendous traffic due the construction going on all over town, so it was a nice way to kill time to wait for the traffic to clear so we could get back on the road.

90+ on the day we stopped and it provided a welcome relief. You get a great deal of detail about Glenwood Spring's history as well as life in general in the late 1800s and early 1900s. For example we didn't know that you didn't pay for the word 'stop' but you did for a punctuation mark when sending a telegraph. Lots of daily life detail as well as historical events unique to GS. Figure an hour. Most children will NOT enjoy even with the cute the "selfie" opportunity upstairs to put on hat and clothes from 'olden times.'
