We were driven from Agerola to Pompeii and then throughout Naples for the day with Antonio. He was always on time to meet us, had great recommendations of places to see and places to eat, and was truly an amazing driver! He made a very memorable day perfect for us - and stress free!

Please skip shops in Amalfi! Ravello has a more artistic and thus very expensive offer of ceramics. Amfusco however is traditional artistic. We asked for a design and the couple is so helpful! Just park in the street. The shop is ontheven corner. Some art works in Furore are made by these artists.

We walked down to the Fiordo di Furore from our hotel (Holidays Fico d'India), and it was a very long and steep walk (a little scary at times), but so worth it as soon as we saw this place! The water is crystal clear blue, a little chilly (but not unswimmable) and the beach was not too crowded (we were here at the end of May). You can buy beer, sodas, etc. from a little beach "bar" and can also get lounge chairs as well. We "roughed it" and sat right on the rocky beach. Be aware that it can hurt your feet to walk on, but I was fine with flip flops on. If you are visiting the Amalfi Coast, this place is a must-see - absolutely gorgeous and picturesque and perfect for a refreshing swim on a hot day. There is even a bus stop right above on the bridge if you are coming from one of the neighboring towns.

This winery is off the beaten track and definitely worth the trip. A curvy drive up the mountain leaves you in what I call “upper Furore”. The town is quiet and authentic and the views are amazing! The winery tour will take you through terraced vines (some of the vines here are over 100 years old!) and detailed explanations of growing conditions and harvest. You also get to see their production areas and their stunning cellar. Lunch at the associated restaurant is delicious. Courses are perfectly paired with Marissa Cuomo wine. I especially love the Fiorduva with their “catch of the day in crazy water”!
