Frankenmuth Aerial Park

The aerial park is a combination of ladders, bridges, climbing elements and zip lines spread throughout acres of wooded beauty. Climbers proceed from platform to platform through the course elements, then enjoy a short zip to the next set of elements. Our newest course, FrankenZip, is a fan-favorite with 7 long zip lines at heights ranging from 15 – 35 feet off the ground.

The cross is at the very top. They also have lots of flowers. The organ is beautiful! They have a tower and a steeple. The church was built with red bricks. It is gorgeous! Wow!

This was our last stop before leaving Frankenmuth. Next year, it will be our first stop. There were no samples due to COVID-19 restrictions, but that didn’t deter us. We bought what we wanted to “sample.” Upon returning home, I placed an online order because I certainly didn’t buy enough. The order arrived within 2 days (to Ohio). Can’t wait to make another cherry pie. ????

Bavarian Inn Holz Brucke Covered Bridge

Reviewed By jakb1969 - Detroit, United States

The kids were pooped at the end of our visit, so I walked alone from our parking spot at the Bavarian Inn. It was lit up and it is all wooden. You can walk along the side to get to the other side (I did not though), and it you can still see through the sides. Very well-made bridge that cars were driving on easily. It's not super long, so I'd say it takes a minute driving on, if that. It's right off the main street of Frankenmuth next to Bavarian Inn.

Our wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation - one of the most fertile growing regions in the nation - which not only sets us apart from other wineries in the state, but has been instrumental in making us Michigan's most-awarded winery. Our wide selection of award-winning wines ranges from internationally recognized dry wines to award-winning sweet wines, and everything in between. This exhibits all types of year round interests from Halloween, Thanksgiving, St Valentines Day, St Patricks Day and of Course Easter and Lenton season. Of course all summer patriot occasions such as Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day are emphasized as their tradition of remembering this occasion 361 days a year open. At present store hours are 10 AM until 7 PM due to this Covio crisis. I will upload on what the leaves are expected to look this week up until about Election Day. Frankenmuth River Place Shops is a great collection of unique shops and cafes that fit in with the Bavarian style of the town. The area is set up like a little village with paths that wind through the different shops as well as sitting areas, a water feature, and common areas where there is live music at times. The main entrance through the town is via a bridge over the Cass River. This entrance also gives you easy access to the river boat ride that takes you for a leisurely cruise along the water. There is another entrance with lots of parking on the other side of the shopping area. Although there are some chain shops such as the Yankee Candle Company, there are also some unique stores in this little mall as well such as the Enchanted Forest, which also has a little outdoor display that is adorable. There is a little something for everyone in this eclectic group of shops
