The Sun is a restored Art Deco suburban theatre; now a cinema. It has three (I think) cinemas of differing sizes and each are rather beautiful. The seats are new and are deep and comfortable with big wide arms to rest your drinks on.
It gets very crowded in the foyer and you need to book, especially on half-price night. Right outside the main entrance is a little piazza on the Yarraville strip where people have picnics or visit the adjoining restaurants. It's a great locality and the Sun occupies a central place in it.

The City Circle Tram is a free and convenient way to see the sights of central Melbourne and the Docklands while experiencing a ride on one of the city's much loved heritage trams.An audio commentary provides details of city landmarks and major attractions such as the City Museum, Parliament House, Docklands, Federation Square, Melbourne Aquarium and the Princess Theatre.The City Circle Tram also links with other tram, train and bus routes around Melbourne.To catch the City Circle Tram, simply wait at any tram stop along the City Circle Tram route. These tram stops are specially marked with a City Circle sign.Trams operate in both directions every 12 minutes between 10am and 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday and between 10am and 9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.City Circle Trams do not run on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

The City Circle Tram makes both clockwise and counter-clockwise laps around the central business district of Melbourne. This has a narrative which was somewhat helpful. The other great thing about the Melbourne Tram system is that it is completely free inside the central business district

Was looking for an inexpensive new experience for 4 grandchildren during school vacation and they loved it! I have spent most of my life in the Footscray area yet learnt so much about the history of life on and around the River. We took our lunch with us and simply relaxed for a couple of hours. The youngest [5] while not interested in the history was delighted at the wild life and the river view of places he knew. [younger kids may need some entertainment] but the 7 & 9 yo's enjoyed following the map.

I was gifted this by my husband for Christmas. We both attended. It was a delightful experience, very hands on & a lot of fun. The end result was delicious & served with wine or beer. Our host, Patrick was cheerful & engaged, and had a lot of helpful tips. The produce was fresh & tasty. We will try another lesson, looking forward to the Ethiopian course. Will also try one (or both) of the food tours, once the weather warms up.

My kids and I spent 3 hours in Scienceworks and could've spent a lot longer. There were heaps of interactive displays that kids could get their hands on. Arrive early and you'll have the place to yourself for a while before the school kids turn up in their droves. Even with busloads of local school kids, there were enough things to do without waiting too long. My kids loved it. If you get there early, there is free parking on the street, otherwise you can pay for parking in the designated Scienceworks carpark.

Went out for Lunch with family.We ordered non -veg platter for starter which comes with 1 nan bread and had tandoori chicken,lamb seekh kebab,Chicken tikka.For mains we had had Masala dosa,Butter chicken,Butter chicken tikka masala,Kadai paneer,Chicken biryani with nan bread and tandoori roti.
Mains were very delicious especially the chicken biryani and curry dishes which were hot and tasty.Had mango lassi and salted lassi to finish our meal and it was spot on.
Service was friendly and nice but has room for improvement.

Once you get past the dodgy Looking road which had us saying 'where is this taking us!' The temple and heavenly queen are both a beautiful site! It is in a great spot by the water, very pretty.

It really doesn't get much better than this! The performance (which celebrates Graeme Murphy's 50 year contribution to the Australian Ballet) starts of with a film clip of Graeme talking (amongst other things), about his passion in finding the artist in performers - that moment...MoreThanks for your review and thoughts on the production and costumes.
