Lovely Promenade along the lake with views and activities such as mini golf (just make sure you stay far away from club swinging grandchildren), carousel and children's playground as well as water activities on warm days. There are small kiosks for snacks, ice cream and beverages. While out for a stroll in the evening we popped in to La Voile restaurant for coffee and dessert. Indoor and outdoor Seating with a lovely view of the dock. It was nice that some of the facilities are open until 10 pm.

Ne lui demandez pas qui l’a construite. Les faits remontent à si longtemps qu'elle ne s’en souviendrait plus. Nous savons seulement qu’il était italien, qu’il travaillait sous la direction du prêtre Claude-Etienne Colliex, et qu'elle doit à des natifs émigrés les fonds nécessaires à ma construction. Réputée pour être parmi les plus belles de Savoie, sa façade, avec son portail monumental et ses éléments en relief ou en trompe-l’œil, n’est cependant pas son seul atout de séduction...

The inside of this church in the middle of the Mountains is strikingly beautiful. The bright blue, white and gold colors are a significant contrast to the church's rather bland exterior. The ride to and from the church also provides wonderful mountain vistas. Glad took the ride.

Excellent transfert depuis la gare Cornavin de Genève,le chauffeur nous attendait à l'endroit prévu,il me semble qu'il y avais la wifi à bord.

There is a choice of either Alpine themed course or Tropical - both 18 holes each. Special offer to do the two courses. It was really hot the day we went so the lady at the counter said we could play one course and then just pay the difference if we still wanted to do the next. Some of the holes are quite tricky and there are some entertaining water hazards. There is a cafe on site and some other family activities. Free car park on site.

Après avoir visité les étables avec notre fille, nous avons acheté une belle sélection de fromages tous plus appétissants les uns que les autres (abondance, saint Paul, tomme aux cèpes, fondant d'oche..etc) à des prix défiant toute concurrence ainsi que de savoureux saucissons : un saucisson fumé divinement bon et une saucisse sèche succulente ! La majorité des fromages sont fait sur place, les autres (fromage de chèvre, tomme de brebis etc...) ont été soigneusement sélectionnés, comme la charcuterie, chez des petits producteurs locaux. Si vous oubliez votre sac isotherme, pas de souci vous en trouverez sur place à 3,50 euros ( nous avions acheté au moins 3 kilos de fromage, et pour prendre l'avion c'était préférable ;-)). Pas de règlement par CB, n'oubliez pas de prendre un chéquier ou des espèces.

The gorge and surrounding area is beautiful. The guide we had was friendly and informative. There is a Euro 6.5 entrance fee which is not expensive and well worth it. There is a cafe at the top for light snacks and something to drink or pack a picnic, the facilities are wonderful and the scenery amazing. It is a relaxing stroll down - remember though - you need to walk all the way back up. Practical walking shoes highly recommended. This is not wheel chair friendly. As there are many stairs to climb, if you have an injury or struggle with stairs, maybe re-think this activity. If you have an extreme fear of heights, also re-think. If you have a mild fear of heights - do it, you'll be glad you did. They are not open during winter, they open end of April and close end September.

The craft of sticking together wooden flotsam and creating strange fabulous animals is ripe in Evian. Those creations, which you will find a bit here and there in the centre, are really gorgeous.. and sometimes humoristic too!

This golf academy is a privilege to learn at. As well as plenty of small driving ranges, it has practice areas for all different aspects of golf so quick to build your confidence and improve, whatever your level. Our teacher Laurent was demanding but excellent and we made really good progress. Setting is gorgeous with a great view of the lake from everywhere, and the club house is a lovely old house. Could not recommend more highly.

Envie de mélange de monts et de lac, découverte d un très joli endroit rappelant les vacances d antan : un hôtel tout à fait charmant, l hotel de la plage, avec piscine, tennis, ping pong, plusieurs salons, un délicieux PDJ !
Personnel aux petits soins sous la houlette d une propriétaire très agréable ! Très bonne table le long du lac, en extérieur ou intérieur et la petite plage d Amphion tout à côté équipée de pédalos, paddles ... un lieu hors du temps .....
