Popular route from Estes Park to Black Hawk.
After visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, we proceeded on the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway that offered scenic views of the Parks highest peaks as well as beautiful fall colors. The Byway winds its way through Blackhawk, Central City on the way to Interstate 70.

One of our favorite places to see all around Estes Park -- well worth the price, standing in lines, etc., and once you get to the top, you can relax, buy food/drink, or bag of peanuts to feed the zillions of chipmunks!!! Lots of boulders, to climb on, if you have kids with you! Lovely gift shop, too, with wide variety of souvenirs/shirts, etc.

Handcrafted wines from Estes Park, Colorado. Our family friendly tasting room features boutique wines, artisanal cheeses, gourmet foods and unique gifts from around Colorado. Open year-round for winery tours and tastings. Plus, juice tastings and a playroom for the younger jet-setters.
We stopped in for a tasting and wished we could have brought some bottles home with us! Snowy Peaks has a lot of different wines to choose from. We were seated outside and used dry-erase markers to mark our 5 choices on a menu. Our server brought all 5 samples out at once, each glass clearly marked as to which wine we had chosen. The samples were generous and the staff was so friendly. The wines were so good, and I even ordered a glass of Snowy Peaks Chardonnay at the restaurant we went to for dinner that night. Highly recommend you stop in for a tasting. You won't be disappointed!

Craft brewery featuring unique and quality beers in a family-friendly environment. Most current beer list can be found on our website or on Untappd. We do not serve food but often have a food truck parked on our patio -- visit our website calendar for additional information. Outside food also welcomed!
This was a great experience for our family. The brewery is pet friendly!! All the staff was so amazing and so friendly. Pricing is also very reasonable along with great customer service and excellent tasting beer. I would highly recommend this brewery!

Come try Colorado Craft Whisky and spiced liqueurs (and more to come) distilled and bottled in Estes Park. Enjoy patio views of Longs and Meeker Peaks, creative craft cocktails for whisky and non-whisky lovers alike, and take bottles home for gifting or drinking. Call for more info on tours and group events.
Last weekend we hosted our son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at Elkins Distilling Co. It was the perfect setting for their evening and was totally enjoyed by our family and guests! They made everything so pleasant from the set up to the unique variety of beverages to a tour of their Distillery ! I would definitely recommend Elkins Distilling for an event!
