Domus of Cieutat / Interpretive Center A 10 years excavation campaign has unearthed a Gallic-Roman aristocratic residence named "Domus of Cieutat". This urban residence is part of Elusa's residential aristocratic quarter. The survey focused on elite housing unmasking Elusa's urban community organization. Indeed, the architectural features of the Domus embody the social status of its successive owners. A quest for comfort and a desire to assert one's social rank were the pillar of the Domus architectural style. Discover a vibrant archeological site revealing an in depth analysis of an antic city in the making. Step in one of the largest archeological reserve. The Archeological Site Interpretive Center equips visitors with prior knowledge as to deepen their understanding of the vestiges at hand and behind. It also offers cutting-edge interactive modules and encourages visitor decoding the site and move through then-and-now images of the site.
