From little village Orlec you take a small narrow road down to the parking where you have to leave your car and then take a steep pathway to the beach for about 10min. The water is beautiful, crystal clear and the small beach is surrounded by cliffs. There are no shades on the beach until 4-5p.m. After 5p.m. there is no more sun because it goes behind the cliff.

We don't usually choose to do this touristy type of thing but having found a smallish outlet to have lunch in and a swim in a small Bay which was a hairy drive down to navigate the day before, and then seeing the towel to towel situation to squeeze into a spot along the thin Cres town 'beach' , we decided to give this a go and we were not disappointed! We loved our day - I.5 hour to sail to a small inlet next to Lubinice which is a pristine white pebble beach with an amazing blue grotto that the captain of the boat took us to. We found a lovely shaded spot and relaxed for several hours and had a tasty simple fish lunch with on tap wine for the day! Surprisingly despite the number of people on our 'pirate ' ship and other private smaller boats that had pulled into the Harbour , there seemed to be enough space for everyone! The crew were happy and attentive - we had a brilliant day and would highly recommend this experience!

When tourists are walking around the Cres - city, they usually visit the main parish church and local museum. Franciscan monastery is located not far from the new bus station. It has three interesting parts: church, big cloisters and smaller one (both with many carved details). They have also small museum – the place is closed in the lower season. If you are lucky, you can even walk around the garden. Monks are very helpful. You can admire a monument to Placido Cortese near the main entrance. He was killed by Germans during the WW 2 in Trieste.

Wir haben mit Ivan schon mehrmals Abendausflüge nach Valun gemacht es war immer sehr schön. Einmal hatten wir sogar für wenig Geld einen Grillabend mit allen was das Herz begehrt und 10 Freunden in einer schönen Bucht . Während sich Ivan und seine Crew um das leibliche Wohl der Gäste kümmerten konnten wir im kitschig orangen Sonnenuntergang in der Bucht schwimmen es war ein Traumabend sehr zu empfehlen wird aber nur auf Anfrage durchgeführt.

Credo che si tratti di un bar carino che si trova a Cherso e non di una attrazione . Servono birra e cocktail ed è conosciuto anche come Havana club . Carino e servizio socievole

We had a fantastic meal here on Sunday (24/8/14). This was for our daughter's birthday. The owner arranged a birthday cake made by her Mum (hazelnut - superb!) and other party items.
My vegetarian meal was excellent (truffle pasta).
The owner worked very hard for us to have a memorable evening. THANK YOU Irena!
This place is well worth a visit.
