Patrick and his wife's "junk art," which enlivens the front yards of half the homes on downtown Florence Avenue, is the most unique and interesting attraction in "Peacetown." A fire truck, doggie, Superman, motorcycle and rider are just a few examples of the whimsical and well-constructed pieces on display along two blocks of mostly charming, small older homes. The Amiot's house is particularly noteworthy, where they sometimes give away calendars from past years that show a dozen of their works.
What a nice contrast to the cold, industrial, self-important Barlow complex on the east side of downtown.

We heard Richard Goode play Bach, Brahms, Chopin and Beethoven last night. It really is a lovely hall with great accoustics. I look forward to return visits and reliving my Tanglewood memories on the lawn on a summer evening. Very disappointing, though, to sign up for the pre-concert lecture, rush to arrive an hour early, to be told the speaker had a last minute "schedule conflict".....really?

Our getaway for Valentine's Day started with Kat checking us in at front desk. Great personality and excellent customer service---including ALL hotel staff!
Love coming to this fabulous resort....rooms are very spacious too. Request room above 6th floor on pool side to enjoy the beautiful pasturial setting in the distance.
HUGE casino...where we usually leave a little coin behind... ;-)

Great easy going bar. Feels clean, bartender was attentive and the best part, you can order food from Yanni's next door and sit and drink in the pub. I love how they work together to accommodate the customer.
This place is cash only so be prepared. I ordered a bottle of Negra Modelo but my mother in law had a martini. She said that the bartender made it exactly as she requested - straight up with just a whisper of vermouth and rocks on the side. She's a pretty discerning gin martini drinker so when she says it's good, I am sure it is.
Great stop in Penngrove!

The tour was super fun. As the previous reviewers stated, everyone was good friends by the time the tour was over. The wineries we visited were very nice. Prices were far better than prentious ones in the heart of Napa. Toby, our tour guide, could not have been more accommodating!

Although we arrived at 11:00 am, and the brewery doesn't open until 11:30, there were already several people milling around and even a yoga class being held in the area that seems to maybe be an entertainment site for musicians. We visited the SchwagShop which featured a wide variety of clothing and other paraphernalia. Once the Brewery opened, we shared a flight of beer as well as tried a few other interesting brews. Although we didn't eat, there was a menu featuring the usual bar type food that looked very good.

If you enjoy good whisky you should not miss Sonoma County Distilling Co.
This is a very ”young” distillery, but never the less they make amazing whisky. We did not know what to expect when booking the tour, but was very surprised.
A very informative tour you should not miss out on especially if you appreciate good whisky.

I was MoH in a wedding held at Foxtail and the ease of the whole day was fabulous! The wedding party was allowed to come set up pretty early in the day, right before the rehearsal. Our wedding planner, scheduler and savior of the day was Sue. She obviously does this a lot and I was impressed with her attention to every detail including having cold drinks awaiting the entire bridal party after the (Hot) wedding in the sun and pictures. Every issue was handled with ease and a smile. Everyone else who works there was also great, DJ, bartenders, all went so well. There is a nice little room with attached bathroom for the bridal party to get ready in and the location of the ceremony itself and picture spots was very nice. I would highly recommend a wedding here for a easy day!
