We visited Maya Chan Beach while on a cruise. It was perfect : super friendly staff, very good homemade food, excellent bar service, nice floating chairs and paddle board, nice sandy beach and refreshing pool. We had a beach cabana with chairs, day bed and hammock for ourselves. Could not ask for better because it was THE best. Can’t go wrong with this gem!

I was skeptical there’d be anything for us to do in Costa Maya— our first cruise port. But my brother found this beach club online and read reviews here. The rest of us decided on the deluxe package and what a treat the day was!! The weather was perfect... It was a quick $8 cab ride from port. They had a shaded cabana and several beach beds waiting for us right in front of the water. There was this awesome giant swing that was great for taking pictures... The water was blue, clear with minimal seaweed. The waitress, I can’t remember her name, was super attentive. The drinks came whenever our glasses were empty and the food offered was delicious. All at a minimal cost!! We had kids ranging from 6-17 and I would not hesitate to come back here again if we ever found ourselves in Costa Maya. If ur Ship is in port here definitely consider this beach club for a day of fun, sun and drinks! We had such a blast!

This is a paved pedestrian (and bike) route along the beach that runs about 1+ miles. One side is lined by the ocean and beach chairs and table while the other side is lined with restaurants and shops. There are vendors everywhere trying to sell you items. It can be overwhelming but just politely say no thank you and enjoy your visit. You will find massages for $20 for an hour here as well as good drinks and eats.

Costa Maya is one of Mexico's most popular cruise ports and emerging travel destinations located just hours from Cancun on Mexico's southern Yucatan Peninsula. The modern port is able to accommodate three ships at once, with the capability to dock Oasis and Epic sized ships, and entertain visitors at a destination that showcases the ancient and colonial heritage of the Mexican Caribbean with all of today's modern conveniences. Costa Maya is comprised of three grand pavilions, artisan and luxury shopping areas, a beach club, saltwater pools, fine restaurants and bars, and all the resources necessary to explore the surrounding jungle and the world's second largest coral reefs.
