So we just tried to get to the Bergerie de Cortelle to start hiking, and found the road had totally washed away above the Camping de Tuani campsite!
We recommend going back down to the Point d'Info car park, crossing the bridge and hiking up there, we had a fantastic 2 hour walk (about 7 miles) with stunning views....

We took some first time visitors to Corte up to this viewpoint. It is a great starting point to orientate a visit to this city and see it in its glorious natural surroundings. Go early or late to avoid the crowds. The same view can be had from the Citadel but this is free.

Corte is only the formal address of administration offices; but is actually located between Mountains in the heart of the island.
so this attraction is badly related to Corte, that is offering a lot to hikers, not to sea lovers.
I viisited Corte some days ago, and I enjoyed the city, but is more similar to an alpine city, rather than a mediterranean one

Musee de la Corse

If you want to learn more about the history of Corsica, this is the place to be. The museum a beautiful mixture of an historic building with modern elements added. The architecture is really outstanding in itself.
The collection is not big, but nicely presented (although sometimes better lighting would have come in handy).
A suggestion: try to insulate the music capsules better, the way they are set up now, you can here the music of the other capsules seeping in.
