It generally consists of all land on the seaward face of the San Joaquin Hills south of Avocado Avenue to the city limits, as well as the development of Irvine Terrace, just north of Avocado. Corona del Mar is known for its fine beaches, tidepools, cliffside views and quaint village shops. Beaches in the area include Corona del Mar State Beach as well as Crystal Cove State Park south of Corona del Mar, accessible by paths winding down a steep hillside.

This is a find in the midst of urban sprawl, strip malls and LA regional traffic. It is a horticultural oasis and a hidden gem! The gardens are lovely and while we did not eat at the restaurant, it has excellent reviews and outside-seating. The library focuses on the history of the Pacific Southwest and has an amazing collection of historical City Directories. The collection of art is small but interesting. This garden and library is named after the founder, Arnold Haskell’s benefactor, M. H. Sherman the founder of the Los Angeles Railway System and namesake of Sherman Oaks. A charming piece of history and garden beauty. I highly recommend.

We have been to Little Corona Beach several times over the years. In my youth, I used to walk to it from Balboa Island. Movies have been made there. Churches Baptize people there. It is a great place to swim, watch boats go by, and view beautiful homes.

Tucked away at the entry to Newport bay. Explore the beach or climb the rocks at the bay entry and watch the sunset as the boats come in and out. Incredible view!

I had followed Roger's Gardens for a year on Instagram and knew I had to visit on our trip to Cali. I bought some flower seeds to bring back to Tennessee and plant this spring to remember our trip. Everything was beautiful and if you're a plant person, you'll be excited to stroll the property and see all the different kinds they have. The decor was astonishing.

Came here to see where the "Duke" was buried. Nice people that gave us a map and the location of his grave site. For many years his grave did not have a plaque because of some people not liking his views. John has a great view and is still liked and loved by many
