Short analysis: Visited in the evening of July 3 for some go-cart action and a round of mini golf. The employees here are very polite and friendly, the facility is kept in pretty nice shape and the prices are reasonable for 2-3 hours of fun. So in short, come here and check it out! Longer analysis: The 3-rides-for $18 go-cart price was very reasonable considering you probably get at least 8 laps around the track. Even one ride at $7 is a decent price. The go-carts themselves have plenty of speed (but not too much to make them feel dangerous) and are maintained really well. The attendants working at the go-cart track did an excellent job making sure everyone enjoyed a safe, fun ride. There are 2 separate mini golf courses from which you can choose: The hillier "Mountain Streams" course (par 51) or the less hilly "Falls" (waterfalls) course (par 45). Both courses are built sort of onto the mountain so it's a unique experience. Although both courses are lit up at night, the visibility is not optimal on many holes (we opted to play the Falls course) because either some light poles were out and/or some of the trees blocked the lighting. So based on our experience, playing a round during daylight would be preferable. Also: The par 45 for the Falls Course seems ridiculously low. Since many of the holes are hilly and the greens are uneven, it's not realistic to expect only 2.5 strokes per hole (to score a 45). We didn't keep score on our visit but I'll bet all 4 of us were in the 60-70 range! The holes are not extremely elaborate but getting a low score is definitely a challenge due to the factors I mentioned above! Lahey's also offers batting cages, bumper boats, a small arcade area and some refreshments but we did not partake in any of those on our trip. But everything here looks nice and, as mentioned earlier, the staff here is very friendly. Definitely recommended.
