I visited this place after 5 years and this time I was accompanied by a some good friends who all are passionate about wonders of nature. The sheer view of the falls gave a wonderful feeling and the mighty sound of gushing water gave us goosebumps. We enjoyed a boat ride which took as very near to the falling water for a really thrilling experience. I thank my start that I got an opportunity to visit this place again. I hope to be here again soon with my daughter.

I used to visit this mall for the subway and the big bazaar. It has lots of young crowd coming in for movies and also the social life with bar and Movie theatre in this complex. Being on outskirts also means easy parking space but crowded in weekend. Descent choices for shopping.

Tirathgarh Falls

Reviewed By Karthik R - Chennai (Madras), India

Tirathgarh falls is another very popular Waterfalls in Chattisgarh. Tirathgarh is around 65 kms from Chitrakoot falls. We have to cross the forest checkoost of Kanker valley national park and enter this falls. There is a ticket counter where they charge Rs.25 per person and also for the car. Tirathgarh falls is around 5 kms from here on the right side of the counter. The Kailash and Kutumsar caves are located in the left side - around 30 kms from the counter.
Tirathgarh falls - we need to climb down few steep well laid steps. Tirathgarh has water rumbling down in step like rock formation. They are five in number, aside each other and we get to see three of them in one sight. Walking further down, we could see all five. Tirathgarh is one the amazing falls that I have seen so far for its formation and the number of diversions it has. These five falls combine and become 2 streams of water and become big Waterfalls again at the next level. We can see the next level below given an amazing view - a lake formation - Waterfalls in a canyon like place and forming a big lake - wow guaranteed. One can reach further down through quite steep steps, difficult for elders to climb. We spent quality time here and the visit is definitely a memorable one.

The Ibrahim Rauza is the tomb of Ibrahim Adil Shah, Sultan of Bijapur in 16th century.
It has a mosque attached to it.
The mosque is pretty but the Rauza has exquisite calligraphy and inscriptions on its entire external walks.
Well worth a visit just for that. Though some of it us in a dilapidated condition as the calligraphy is in stucco and not stone

Chitrakote Falls

Reviewed By Asheesh2012 - Noida, India

Another great waterfall near jagdalpur after tirthagarh! Visit in rainy season when the fall becomes broad due to heavy water flow. Magnificent views and boat ride is also available to take you closer which is truly amazing. Unfortunately the place is not developed much and even the stairs to the fall are not yet completed. you just have one lodging option which is a gov. resort and but luckily good :).No other dining options around :(. This place has tremendous potential and CG tourism must work on it.
