Small little church in the largest town on the island. Only downside for a tourist is that there are limited hours for mass on Saturday and Sunday; it makes sense though since most locals are of different denominations. Find out about mass hours before heading over. If all else fails, there are 4 bars/restaurants on the beach a few hundred meters over. ;)

The Gallery owner is an accomplished artist and one of the kindest people you will meet. She teaches her unique craft to other local artists and opened this gallery to provide local artists a venue to sell their work. Her work for her community equals her artistic skill. Invest in local Nevis art. The work I bought is a constant reminder of my favorite spot in the world.

Was I in Hawaii? That's the feeling I got when I was walking on this lovely long stretch of beach with Mount Nevis on one side with foreground covered by all the coconut trees at Four Seasons and Caribbean sea as foreground to the beautiful long stretch of hills and mountains of St. Kitts. The water is crystal clear with gemstone blue shades. Fortunately Four Seasons and its buildings didn't ruin the natural feel of the surroundings. In fact they blended well and added to enhance the beautiful views of Nevis. The beach feels deep drop off at places but there are plenty of sections that feel very safe for a long soak while taking in the views of Nevis.

On a recent visit to Nevis, I was excited to see the new exhibition at the History Museum. It's professionally curated and easy to follow, with really interesting information that teaches visitors about the island's history from pre-Colombian times up to contemporary Nevis culture. It's obviously a small museum, run by a non-profit society, but they have done an amazing job and even use new technologies (Augmented Reality and QR codes) which our kids found really fun! And don't worry: there is free WiFi to download the apps for AR and QR codes! Next door is Hamilton House and the new Museum Gift shop that has some great and original items. There's also a great little Café in the yard for light meals and drinks after your visit – so this place is a wonderful way to spend an hour or so. The museum is definitely a MUST-DO for any visitor to Nevis – it's a great introduction to the overall history before you start your tour of the rest of the Island!

A sacred and solemn site. The citizens of Nevis are to be commended for the preservation and recognition of this important place in history. It's amazing to learn about the impact and reach of the Jewish people from so long ago. Let us never forget. As always, enjoy life, live, love, eat, drink, and have fun!! :)

The Bath Hotel and Spring House offer and very low key 115’ “foot” bath. It is very small, and gets crowded when cruise ships are in. I went late in the afternoon when it was virtually empty and was pleasantly surprised with how rejuvenated I felt afterwards. The heat is intense and you need to go in slowly. While there, I met a man from Nevis who was very informative about the bath and affirmed the healing powers of the volcanic water. I intend to go back. For $1 EC, it is a bargain!
