Casa Grande (O'odham: Wainom Wo:g) is a city in Pinal County, approximately halfway between Phoenix and Tucson in the U.S. state of Arizona. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city is 48,571. It is named after the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which is actually located in Coolidge. "Casa Grande" is Spanish for "big house".

We offer farm tours relating to local agriculture including cotton and alfalfa. Learn how cotton is grown from seed to bale. This 2 1/2 to 3 hour tour includes an indoor presentation followed by a hayride out to the field. Cotton is planted in the spring and picked in the fall. We have cotton in the field until mid-February. You will see a cotton picker, cotton module builder and a cotton rood which picks up ground cotton. If cotton is not in the ground, we still offer tours. Please call for information on dates, times and reservations. Reservations are required.

Lots of interesting information about cotton and cottonseed. Hokey, but cute music. These farmers talked about water rights without becoming strident. There was junk and scrap metal strewn all over -- rusty old pieces and parts, charcoal grills, an ancient motorhome, broken lawn chairs -- which was odd because the Caywoods obviously take such pride in what they do, otherwise. Cleaning up the yard around the outbuildings would go a long way to add to the appeal of this place. The tour guide's comments during the hayride tour around the farm acreage were also interesting.

This museum may be small, but it is definitely one of the best little museums we have been to. The displays are well thought out and the placards are informative. Very nice presentations and information on local history, prehistoric to contemporary. Very glad we took it in.

Even tough it is over 110 outside some stores have a resonable sale on items. With Target leaving the Promenade along with the bankruptsy of Sports Authority some of the smaller buisness could not hold on. Resturants near the theater have left and more youth clothing stores are closing. Harkins theaters is a good buy as well as sales at Penny's and Dillards. Rubeo's is always a good deal for a quick meal.

We purchased a gift certificate through Phoenix Area Skydiving as a 2014 Christmas present for our college age daughter. Because she lives most of the year away at college, we had a reservation booked for her over her Christmas break. Unfortunately, Phoenix Area Skydiving cancelled her reservation and since she was going back to school we couldn't try to book again until summer. When we tried to book summer of 2015, we were told there was nothing available so we planned way in advance and booked for Thanksgiving break 2015. Again, Phoenix Area Skydiving cancelled her reservation last minute and rebooked her for the next day. The following day, her reservation was again cancelled. At this point we were unable to rebook because our daughter was heading back out of state to college and we were going to be moving out of state. Consequently, we would no longer be living in the area and had no way to reschedule our daughter so she could redeem her gift certificate. At this point, we asked for a refund. The employee on the phone told us they could not help us but told us we could try emailing their boss, which we did. Unfortunately, we received no response from our email. At this point, it looks like we are out our money and our daughter has no skydiving experience to show for it. We were very disappointed in the customer service we received.

A course in really bad shape. Heavy equipment marks on some fairways, greens in really bad shape and no maintenance in the bunkers. Can very easily lose golf balls in the hundreds or more of holes made by ground squirrels. They are everywhere!

My wife and I visited the range with a group of novices from One Sight Shooting in Casa Grande. It was our first trip to this range and though it was simi-remote, it was totally adequate for our learning needs. We did take chairs and plenty of water. The day was cooler than usual and very nice. Dan at One Sight was an excellent host, albeit a tough little guy. An excellent teacher along with his fine staff from his shop. We will shoot there again for practice. We both feel comfortable with our weapons of choice and look forward to going to the range again.

The Pinal County Fairgrounds and Event Center is a multi-purpose facility with a variety of amenities. It features some of the best events in central Arizona. Events include the Pinal County Fair in March, the Agri-Country Bluegrass Festival and Car Show in January, Wuertz Farm's Gourd Festival in February, and the Arizona Classic Livestock Show.

If you like dirt tracks, this place is unique. Depending on the evening,racing is terrific. Bombers, to Super modifiers, the racing can be exciting!

We purchased a couple of yard ornaments as gifts. The owner was willing to bargain and they were nice enough to recoat the clear coating before we picked them up. We were pleased with our transaction.

Property is posted! As stated in previous posts, the domes are abandoned and crumbling. We did not get out of our car as we felt there was nothing there that would be worth the risk of being arrested for trespassing.

It was a nice downtown park, Lots of trees and vegetation, with sidewalks and open areas too for relaxing. It was maintained nicely and pretty clean.
