Caieiras is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 95,780 (2015 est.) in an area of 97.64 km². Due to the municipality's large reforestation area, it is known as the "City of the Pines".

When passing by Santa Ines Road between Mairiporã and Caieira you can see the good parts of this nice building. By curiosity, I asked to the doorman to visit it. It the biggest surprise to going up to the hill where lots of priest and seminarian live. A father guided us to a visitation of this religious complex. The main Cathedral is of gothic style, marvellously adorned with pictures of Our Lady of Rosário and stained glass. On specific schedules, there is regular service and gregorian songs. Highly recommended, a jewelry in the Cantareira mountain.

O parque conta com uma trilha linda, cheio de espécies vegetais do cerrado. Além disto, o parque tem uma história muito interessante, já que antes de ser parque o espaço pertencia a um centro psiquiátrico, que hoje serve como base pra muito aprendizado.

Vale a pena parar neste local e beber um chopinho acompanhado por amigos e o bom de tudo podes abastecer teu carro e estacionar ao lado da estação de gasolina.

Pinacoteca is a museum of visual arts, with emphasis on Brazilian production since the nineteenth century. It belongs to the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture. It was founded in 1905 by the State Government of São Paulo and it is the oldest art museum in the city. It is installed in the old building of the Arts and Crafts College, designed in the late nineteenth century by the architect Ramos de Azevedo. In the 1990's it underwent an extensive renovation with the architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha's project. Pinacoteca hosts about thirty Exhibitions and receives about 450,000 visitors yearly. The museum's main focus is to promote to general public a better experience with visual arts with its collection, building and historical relevance.

Whenever I’m at São Paulo Pinacoteca, Emanoel Araújo always comes to my mind. He was crucial to turn this museum into international standards. I love the Pedro Américo canvas, Ernst Papf children depiction, and the whole ensemble of painting illustrating Rio. The building itself is a masterpiece. Pay a visit if you like history of art.

Não sou da região estava perto e aproveitei pra conhecer. Sábado a tarde e foi fácil achar uma vaga no estacionamento, o mesmo tem um valor bom. Tem uma boa praça de alimentação com as melhores redes, cinema e diversão pra crianças. Quanto as lojas tem pra todos os gosto e poder aquisitivo. Banheiro limpinho, o shopping estava bem movimentado mas não tinha aglomeração e da pra andar tranquilamente. Gostei valeu a visita.

A vista do mirante é espetacular, a noite as luzes da cidade se acendem e fica muito mais bonito. Sem dúvidas é uma das melhores paisagens que já vi.

O local conta com um restaurante. Precário quanto a total infraestrutura mas o riacho com várias quedas d'Águas permite um passeio gostoso. O acesso permite andar por uns 300 metros ao lado do riacho com as quedas.
Fácil acesso por estrada de terra conservada e bem sinalizada.

Don't just get a taxi as they are not allowed to drive up all the way to the entrance and you'll have to walk up steep hills. Book you tickets at the main office and take their shuttle. Get there early before the 10am rush. Don't bother going up if it's overcast, but you will be warned at the ticket office. Save it for a clear day. Allow a few hours for this sight.

Levei meu neto de 4 anos que adorou. Tem vários personagens como NARIZINHO, PEDRINHO, EMILIA, VISCONDE, DONA BENTA E TIA ANASTÁCIA onde provamos deliciosos bolinhos de chuva, SACI, DONA ARANHA, CUCA, PEDRO MALAZARTES, TIO BARNABÉ, as crianças se divertem e adoram. Almoço e café da tarde incluídos.
