Nice leisurely walk through exhibits confirming our views. Was refreshing to see dinosaurs and not have to read the billions of years ago garbage that you are so used to seeing in books. Liked the biblical perspective of the true creation and explanation for how it could happen for all those who doubt.

Big Bone Lick State Historic Site

Big Bone Lick State Historic Site is recognized as the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology for it's significant role in the development of scientific thought regarding extinction and the relationship of geology and paleontology the world over. The park has been named a National Natural Landmark by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior. The park is famous for its combination of salt springs and late Pleistocene bone beds. Ancient creatures like the mammoth, mastodon, and ground sloth prehistorically visited the mineral springs, swamps, and bogs that are now grassy plains covered with trees and shrubs.

Attended Big Bone Lick State Park with my daughter and grandchildren. The Bison Trail was well worth going, and the kids really enjoyed seeing the Bison up close while they were grazing. We also went to the museum and gift shop and it was delightful.

I've been a library kinda guy since I was a little kid. This branch of the Kenton County Public Library is superb. There's tons of free parking, an abundance of staff, copy services, computer access and a plethora of books, videos, and music. I recommend this for doing research online or just plain escaping from the outside world into a book.

We were newbies at escape rooms. I never even heard of it until I saw it on Trip Advisor the same morning we booked. The staff member was patient with us even though we had no clue what we were doing. The room design was very well done, and the puzzles were very challenging. We didn’t escape successfully, but it was a fun experience. Good way to spend quality time with your teenagers.

Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg

Dockside riverboat casino offers up more than 74,000 square feet of casino gaming including 2,000 slots and 97 table games.

Reviewed By Goofy173 - Harrodsburg, Kentucky

It's just a normal Indiana casino, but the boats to the west are much better. Since Jack and Rising Star are nearby, you'd think they'd do better. But the only $5 bj table required another $5 side bet, which the dealer informed me of when I sat down. Obviously he knows what's going on, cause only 3 seats were taken here, whereas at Jack's and Rising Star, the $5 tables were full. So they didn't get a shot at me and my gf's $400.

Not sure why casinos do this. We just left finding this out. I think they lose money doing this, but I guess not.

a wonderful collection of antiques! Beautiful furniture, period clothing, toys, large collection of old books and letters. Most of the items are left by the family who owned the home for many years. A must see! Family cemetery accessible behind the house (not accessible when it rains or during darkness).

Small gift shop with restroom.

Barn swallows are part of the homestead for many years. They are even painted in one of the rooms.

Some parking. Hiking nearby.

I gave it a very good because it has all the original items in the home.
