Basic Ingredients Bakery

This bakery is highly recommended on trip advisor reviews and rightly so. A wide choice of muffins and some cookies. The oatmeal cookies are like no other oatmeal cookies I’ve ever had - stupendous! Don’t miss an opportunity to try them and get an extra package to take home and freeze. The gift shop items on sale were okay but the cookies were outrageous! Check the opening hours and perhaps call ahead. It’s not always open and if they sell out, they close shop.

This park is great for spending the whole day at. There is a beach for swimming, a boat launch, fishing, bathroom facilities, playground, small field, covered group area, grills, picnic tables, and washing stations. The water is crystal clear. Our family loves spending time here. The staff are great too. Highly recommend this place.
