Our grand daughter missed her school trip to the Centre due to chicken pox so we decided to use an inset day yesterday and take her ourselves. What an amazing place to introduce children to science. Swinley Forest Bike Trails

Reviewed By LEJEND - Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

My regular bike park, went with a group of virgin MTBers who all had a great time and now want to go again. It's a great day out for all abilities, including a large childrens play area, cafe and toilets.
Parking - very reasonable £2-£4 just pay it, it goes to the upkeep.

Trails - Can be very fast and put a smile on the face of an experienced rider although provided you have basic fitness / strength you can roll all of the Red and stay on the brakes if needed, ride the blue first.
Staff - Friendly staff that will help out where they can / Bike Hub is very reasonably priced for MTB gear.
Bike Hire - The price is spot on @ £30 for 3 hours on a full sus it's ideal. In my opinion the older 2016 Whyte bikes were much better. On my recent trip, two of the group were riding the 2017 Hawk Hill, one of my friends was ragging his and hit the DH sections pretty hard, the bike did the job well although, i cant help feel he could have gone faster on a better rig. Another friend who had never been was happy to roll everything at the back of the group and somehow the frame at the chain stay snapped which resulted in a 45 minute walk back to the Lookout, unfortunately we couldn't get hold of the main desk at The Look Out - Bike Hub to come and rescue us, we didn't get charged the £5 for the extra hour add on to the hire because of the problem. They would all go back and hire bikes again.

Great day out learning how to play Polo! I was really nervous to get started but the staff made me feel more than comfortable! The horses are so well trained and the instructors let us take our time to get know the horse and to feel confident enough to go onto the next steps. We had so much fun and even manage to play a little chuck! Thanks for a great experience!

My husband and I booked this tour. Ruth was our guide. She was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! It was a nice way to spend the afternoon as you learnt a lot without being bored (which is normally the case when you go on vineyard guided tour). We tasted 8 different wines in generous quantity. The weather was beautiful so we were able to enjoy the bubbly they serve on arrival in the walled garden.
A great place to visit if you are in the area

The Spa at Pennyhill Park

Blend together 45,000 sq. ft. of pure relaxation with unrivalled five star facilities including eight indoor and outdoor pools (one with underwater music), a thermal heaven heat experience and treatments that are just as 'feel good' as they are effective and you have the most perfect spa experience you could wish for. Recently voted Best Spa for Luxury 2015 by The Good Spa Guide.

Reviewed By Parksfamily2014 - Guildford, United Kingdom

Luxury abounds in this amazing spa which provides the ultimate in pampering and relaxation - endless warm , fluffy towels and bath robes? Yes, but also an personal soft bath mat for your multi directional shower. Steam rooms? Yes, but not just any steam rooms - one with rose oils, one with a blue crystal theme, and numerous others (too many to mention though we tried to sample them all in the day!!) How about an ice room (with actual ice walls and ice maker) for after one of the many saunas? Both indoor (with underwater music) and outdoor pools are fantastic, and the first time I have actually been to a spa with jacuzzi space for all! As to the treatments - eye wateringly expensive, but then how often have you been asked not only to select not only your preferences in music and light volumes, but also on temperature of massage bed?! That's not even mentioning the relaxing rooms (with gel beds and starlit ceilings) or the stone slab heated beds which look tortuous but are actually so relaxing I couldn't bear to leave! Despite the fantastic surroundings and brilliant staff, this is a friendly and unpretentious venue - my only gripe is I am now spoilt for any other spa experience ever!

The highlight of the visit are the Apartments. We did go through Doll House display as the line wasn’t long, albeit i didn’t find it very interesting. We went late in day so it wasn’t crowed. Got a great tourist picture of my daughter with one of the palace guards. Wonderful place to just wonder around within the grounds as well.
Being an American, the British history mostly goes right over my head, but still enjoyed the visit.
Somewhat expensive but a must see if in Windsor.

Dinton Pastures Country Park

Reviewed By DaniH0103 - Guildford, United Kingdom

Put simply, Dinton Pastures is a perfect area for walking, dog walking, paddling in the stream, boating on the lake and playing on the enormous play area. You could easily spend a whole day here and not get bored.
We visited late summer and took 2 energetic 7 and 5 year old boys with their bikes for a walk around the huge lake - it took us almost 2 hours but we stopped for at least 30 minutes to paddle in the stream so it's definitely worth taking a towel and spare clothes. We finished our day at the enormous play area which is without doubt the biggest I have ever visited. The only down side is that because the play area is so huge you can't stay in 1 place to keep an eye on the kids - you need to keep moving to keep them in view. Only a minor point because there is so much for them to do there.
There seems to be plenty of parking which is very reasonably priced and a pub across the road so all in all, a great day out for everyone of any age with or without kids and dogs.

Popes Meadow

A tranquil wooded meadow just north of Bracknell town and located in the friendly village of Binfield.
This is a much loved location for dog walkers and a great place to have a picnic on a hot summers afternoon.
If you walk through the meadow towards Murrell Hill Lane you can cross the road to access Pockets Copse also known as Bluebell woods.
