Plenty of paid parking, so if you get a spot and feed the machine you are set for the day. There's a great park adjacent to the beach, with shade trees for napping under and tables for picnicking. The beach itself is beautiful; white sand, lots of shells to collect along the water, always clean, with posted info about ocean conditions, temperatures, what kinds of fishies might be stinging you today, and when not to swim. There is always a volleyball game going on. The pier is a favorite spot, with the great restaurant and bar Benny's On the Beach in case you get thirsty or hungry. Everyone comes here, it's a true public beach full of happy people. Across the street, there is an Olympic sized public pool that we went to for years, for only a few dollars a day. It has been having its ups and downs, and was drained the last time we came. We sure hope it reopens as it's a treasure if you like to swim laps. Public restrooms in the building remain open for beachgoers, and some shops and restaurants right across the street make this an awesome beach.

Palm Beach County's Water Reclamation district's 50 acre Wakodahatchee wetland, with 3/4 mile boardwalk throughout many different types of wetlands. Birding enthusiasts and all nature lovers will love this stroll through the wetlands. Well laid out nature area, many types of birds - including red winged black birds, egrets, storks, herons, turtles, alligators, iguanas, fish, etc. - all up close and easy to observe in their natural habitat. Free parking, but at times, there are lines to get in. Be patient as the line for parking moves quickly. Plan to spend an hour or two - and in March, the baby stork hatchlings are adorable to see first hand. Definitely worth a visit!

After two seasons with few wading birds (Climate Change?) many birds have returned as water levels have adjusted. Gators and turtles also visible on this excellent morning walk. Ample parking and an enclosed nature center with rest rooms round out a well designed man-made wetlands area with a variety of flora to attract an assortment of wildlife. Can become very hot and humid later in the day. Elevated boardwalk "trails".

Eau Spa Resort in itself is stunning. The grounds, the rooms, the restaurants etc... all beautiful. However the Spa leaves alot to be desired.
Last year we had a 'girls day' there and we all got massages. Very dissappointing. It was my least favorite massage ever, but i chalked it up to "stuff happens", 2 of the other girls were also sorely dissappointed!
Now this year all the girls went again and we all got facials. another flop for 4 out of 5 of us. The facialists rushed through the facial. The rubbing was hard and fast, no chance of relaxing. She was nice enough, but very impatient. The other girls reported a similar experience. Needless to say, we've given up on this spa.
However, the Spa is gorgeous inside, the swinging hammock chairs are cool, yet "very" dirty, they def need new cushions. Some serious yuck factor there. And also the giant hot tub room, very cool. Overall though, would def not go again. Very pricey for sub par service.

My wife and I greatly enjoy fishing with the Island Time crew. The boat is always clean and ready for the trip. The crews are professional and have a wealth of local knowledge that they willing share with their customers. Crew is always at the rail assisting customers and advising to help you land fish your fish.
I have experience the other boats in south county and by far Island Time is the best.

Our family visited this beach a handful of times since it was a short drive from our vacation rental. It was a pleasant surprise to find the man-made reef off the beach which a local told me was the best near beach snorkelling in the area. Swim 300 feet out (you are supposed to have a dive flag) and there are lots of fish to see. I saw a small sand shark and a stingray out there.
The beach has seaweed coming in with the tide so choose a spot without a bunch of that in the shallow. Also, it had some waves and the shallow end wasn't large (it dipped quickly) so it wasn't the best for young kids but we managed.
Helpful lifeguards, free parking, and good snorkelling made this a very positive place for us!

So many great restaurants to choose from-everything from steaks to sushi to burgers.also shops galore! Street view s crazy busy- so would recommend their free trolley service every half hour vs trying to drive if after 10 am. Bumper to bumper traffic and extremely limited parking. Best to walk and take it all in.

The Refuge protects a remnant of the once vast northern Everglades. At the Visitor Center you can take a virtual airboat ride, listen to night sounds of the Everglades and explore a gator hole - all without getting wet! Behind the Visitor Center you can explore the Cypress Swamp Boardwalk, a 0.4-mile trail that loops through towering cypress trees, pond apple trees, ferns and other flora of the swamp.Then relax in the nearby Butterfly Garden, or head across the road to the Marsh Trail. The 0.8-mile Marsh Trail is one of several walking trails along the grass levees that encircle impoundment areas, where different water levels provide habitat for various types of wading birds and other wildlife. Bring your camera and binoculars! You might see an endangered Wood Stork or Snail Kite, or any of 270 other species of birds. While walking the trails, look for tracks in the soft sand. Common tracks include those of bobcats, otters, alligators, raccoons, armadillos and birds.See the Everglades up close and personal in a canoe or kayak on the 5.5-mile Canoe Trail! Or enjoy the view from the levee as you ride along the 12-mile Bike Trail alongside the main canal. Canoes, kayaks and bicycles are available for rent. Try your luck fishing from the pier for largemouth bass, bluegill and bullhead catfish. Boating and sport fishing are also allowed in the main canal. State regulations for fishing licenses apply. Airboats are not allowed on the Refuge, but Loxahatchee Everglades Tours operates just south of the Refuge. Guided bird and nature walks and canoe trips take place on a regular basis. We took a nice stroll through the boardwalk that winds its way through this swamp. Trees were covered with Spanish moss. Very peaceful. There is a nice visitor center with interesting displays of animals and plants. There are miles of other walking trails and there are boats to rent to do water trails. Would have been fun if we had had more time.

This place has a petting zoo, too. They have sunflowers and strawberries to pick yourself. The produce was very fresh and super reasonable. They have great prices on a very small selection of wines. They also carry pies from a local bakery.

Due South Brewing is a distributing craft beer brewery with an onsite taproom. The brewery's taproom is a place to watch the latest batch being brewed while you enjoy a cold pint or stop in to grab a growler of fresh beer to go. The brewery has the best local food trucks onsite every Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun plus visitors are always welcome to bring food or order delivery to the brewery. Free tours are every Sat & Sun at 1pm and at 2&3pm there is a $10 VIP Tasting & Tour (reservations suggested). After 6pm, you must be 21+ to visit the brewery. We're in a warehouse between Sherwin Williams and Boynton Marble and Granite. Park and enter in the back of the building.
