Today it presents world-class performing artists, independent and world cinema, and quality family entertainment from May-October. The Colonial is listed on the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places.

The covered bridge in Littleton NH is a walking only bridge. The location over the Ammonoosuc river is just down river from a series of falls that make a great backdrop for photos. The shoreline is dotted with red maple and a kaleidoscope of color this fall. Saturday their is a Fly Fishing event being held on the river where viewing from the bridge will be epic. Check out Ammonoosuc chapter of TU for details. This spot is amazing any time year and there is a great craft beer place "Schillings" a few steps away. You vill love it.

Fall is a beautiful time of year to visit Franconia Notch State Park. There are hiking trails but you can also see a lot from your car if you have mobility issues. Can be expensive and very crowded.

Set inside an inviting porch-front building, this small family-owned store in "beautiful downtown" Sugar Hill, is renown for its wonderful premium aged cheddar and other cheeses. You'll also find this shop packed with real local maple syrup (of course!) and a variety of local and regional candies, jellies, soups, and much more...even Moxie jelly! Hey, remember Moxie? And the folks behind the counter couldn't be nicer or more helpful.
I defy you to walk out of this store empty-handed!
Now, after you've visited Harman's, drive east to the Sugar Hill Sampler's barn at the crest of the hill, and then down to Polly's Pancake Parlor...

I was extremely fortunate to get a slot in a last minute 5 day class. The professionalism of the staff at Team O'Neil is unsurpassed. Instructors are extremely patient, understanding, and knowledgeable and have absolutely no egos (very down to earth). They come from varied backgrounds and have extensive experience in their areas of expertise. Max, Steve, and Al are the instructors I worked with the most, and were a pleasure to work with. It is truly amazing how fast the skill progression occurs. By day five you are tearing down gravel roads on their 600 acre property at top speed with minimal input. I highly recommend this course.

Although we didn't buy anything this visit, we always love to visit this store and look at the beautiful works of art (jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, etc.) We've bought several items of jewelry here in the past.

We went here to obtain information on Tuckerman’s Ravine and Kancamagus Highway.
We spoke with a gentleman named Jeff Gillianson(? sp). He was a fount of very useful information and we based our 2nd day of hiking on his recommendations. His advice was knowledgeable and excellent.
There was all kinds of useful information and history to be found at Pinkham Notch.

We got there in the afternoon after visiting Flume Gorge. The place was packed but we were able to skip the ticket line because we bought the combo ticket at the Flume Gorge. The ride was good, the view from the top was amazing. But we did not enjoy as much because the place was too crowded. You are sure to find some inconsiderate people at a tourists spot like this. We were packed in the tram, and my kid held on to the edge of the side bar. A lady next to us pushed her off the bar so that she could take 360-degree video from inside the tram. The observation deck was crowded too, and had to wait to get up there. And can't really enjoy and take your time when you know there are more people coming and waiting too (though some don't care and take as much as time they want). The loop path was short and easy walk. It is a narrow path for most parts, but it's not one way and people are walking from both directions. Then many are so concerned about taking the perfect selfie, they just don't seem to see other people around. My main concern was to keep my kid from getting pushed off by those people, so we really could not enjoy the beautiful view and the scenic path.

I'm not usually enamored with gift galleries but I found the Local Works Market place to be very enjoyable. The items on display are from talented local artisan, very talented artisans. I didn't examine every item (there are a lot) to see if they are all locally produced but every item I looked at was. It's not the usual tourist shop with a few local items backed up with mass produced items.
