Spirits of the Red Sand

Voted No.1 Must Do Queensland Attraction, Spirits of the Red Sand shares 60,000 years of Aboriginal culture. Located in South East Queensland, halfway between Brisbane and Gold Coast, this is a multi-award-winning world-first in authentic Aboriginal storytelling experiences. Told through an immersive, ‘roving theatre’ historical re-enactment including a 3 course dinner and dessert. By Day, ‘Welcome to Country Aboriginal Experience’ is an interactive tour with hands-on participation in boomerang painting, didgeridoo playing, bushtucker tasting and up-close access to ancient ceremonies and traditions. There is an event that happens several times a week here that is one of the best Hingis I’ve been to in many years! It is an evening show called “Spirits of the Red Sand”. It tells the story of the early days of Beenleigh and the plight of the Aboriginal people. It is an amazing experience and very educational! I can not endorse this enough! It is a MUST SEE for everyone, especially the young people! Well done to all the staff there on the night! The dinner at the end was also amazing! You guys all deserve the very best! God bless you all!
