Delphine and Hubert are absolutely great. They made us feel so comfortable and for a first time for me, I was very nervous but Hubert was extremely reassuring and patient in his teaching and in getting me to breath properly and enjoy every moment! The dive went great, we saw 6-7 huge turtles and the colors of the reef were just astonishing. The place is quiet and you really feel taken care of. My partner went on 3 dives in 2 days he loved it so much! We will be back :) thank you Delphine and Hubert for this wonderful experience!

James' 2 tours were great! The caving was impressive. James and a local guide walked us through the cave. He provided head lamps & hard hat. Spent an hour underground. Enjoyed lunch on a hillside looking over rice paddies and the Bohol countryside. The afternoon waterfall was impressive and a nice way to cool down in the heat of the day.
The scooter renter was for 24 hours or about $18 USD - an unbeatable deal! James hooked us up. Stop by the Coco Loco Cafe in Anda - James owns it! You can't go wrong!

Avoid this beach during weekends. Locals go here for weekend picnics and the beach gets packed. Some seaweeds get washed up ashore especially during the monsoon season. This beach has a lifeguard on-duty and this place has free showers too. Two of the things that you can't really find on public Beaches in the Philippines.

Trip Advisor also lists this as Lamanoc Caves. They are the same. It was an interesting tour about primary and secondary burials on the island but almost all of the artifacts have been removed and we were told were in the basement of the National Museum. It would have been much more interesting if we could see them. Unlike most visitors who arrive by car, we got there on our dive boat. Lamanoc was listed as one of the dive sites. We arrived early, did a dive, took the tour during our surface interval and then did another dive. The diving was better than other dive sites in the area because there were more fish.

this cave pool is so cool! its not that big but for sure youll enjoy it. this cave is not so far from the former vitamin sea beach resort its just 5 minutes walk away. its perfect to stay cool inside the cave while having a beer and yeah but im no longer sure if they still allowing that.

This trip (takes about 2 hours) is highly recommended. Great scenery and interesting insight into faith, superstition and spirited. Our guide Mr Simbagon was very clever. Topping it off with a visit to his village where we were served coconuts straight from the tree. Do not miss this one folks!

Santo Nino de Anda is located in Poblacion which is the center of the Town though every barangay has their own Kapilya.. Sunday Masses are very jam packed as this town are full of religious devotees though they only do Visayan Masses. I love the ceiling and walls of this church and those are my small get away every time I hear mass ( because i dont understand the sermon)

We are the first Dive Center in Anda,we offers under water dive experience and courses. and it is connected to Bohol Lahoy Dive and Resort.
We did two dives with Anda divers. The first dive was very close to the shore as the boat's engine had some problems, it was slightly disappointing as there was very little fish and very little coral. After getting to water I noticed that my bcd was leaking. I informed this to instructor who said it is ok. However, maybe due to this since I haven't had the problem before, my air was pretty soon 100 bar. The instructor was going fast and did not check how we were doing at all so we had to swim a lot with my buddy to catch him and inform that we need to turn back. At that point air was already at 70. For the second dive I switched regulator which fixed the problem. Also the engine was fixed so we got to a dive site called coral garden. It was amazing as there were lot of turtles and a bonus seasnake. In the end this was the best dive of my short dive career as also the lunch was great and the trip to site was very short and relaxing.

I booked the dives through their online website which was easy to navigate.
Mick was quick to answer emails (when not diving) informative and helpful.
Tansportation from/to my hotel was arranged by Blue star. As I was alone this was in one of the tricycles which is a fun way to see the life around this area, not great for comfort, but fun.
staff were friendly and helpful once I arrived at the resort and took me to the dive centre to fill out paperwork with the DM.
The diving equipment provided was in good condition. Nitrox was provided as requested and a safe practice of analysis took place.
Dive group sizes ranged from 4 to 6 people.
Our DM, July, was friendly helpful and funny with briefing. The only thing I could suggest is that he finds more things to show guest's around the dive sites.
The boat we had was big and in good condition. The staff were all friendly and helpful in assisting with putting gear on.
The corals at the dive sites are still healthy and beautiful due to it being a quiet place to dive.
Blue Star is a nice operator to use for your diving.
On my travels I encounter scams, these are not connected to the review but will just help you from being scammed.
After our trip in Anda I had a taxi pre booked from Manila airport to a hotel in Angeles City. At Manila airport I took out 20,000pesos from an ATM which I didn't count. While on the way to the hotel we stopped a couple of times for the toilet. Near to AC I checked my cash and found I was 6000peso light. I said to the taxi driver about this and he said it was probably the ATM miscounting the cash. When I arrived at AC I emailed the bank and my bank for confirming if the ATM had extra cash. While checking the cash again I noticed $400 was also missing from my wallet which seems very coincidental that the ATM gave less cash and extra cash went from my wallet...After confronting the taxi driver, who denied everything of course, I went to a police man and asked for help and to do fingerprints of my travel wallet, he wanted 10,000 peso to help.... If I was you I would give AC a miss but if it entertainers you to go there then guard your cash at all times with your life as your cash will mysteriously dissappear... After speaking to my girlfriends sisters boyfriend, who is Korean, it seems this has happened to friends of his with exactly the same stories, which also seems coincidental... I can understand an ATM dispensing an incorrect amount but I can't see it jumping in my wallet at the same time and taking cash out....
Do your bit and help others with scams on travel sites like this!!
