I visited this place to explore the famous bhangarh fort which is one of the most haunted place in the world as people say.Bhangarh Fort is around 80 Km from the Jaipur Railway station and to go there we have to rent our personal vehichle because no vehicle facility is available for going there.The place is famous for negative things but I do not felt any negative feeling or anything suspicious there.

We five families visited Siliserh lake and booked siliserh Palace for two days. The lake is covered with Mountains from all sides. There are lot of monkeys in surrounding place which gives an added adventure. Sariska Wildlife Sanchuri is just a 12 km from Siliserh Lake.

long back( a decade ago) it used be a place worth visiting but today the crowd is more due its vicinity to Delhi and more of advertisement but not much action. better tiger reserves are there in India elsewhere.its.poorly maintained infra and services make it a disappointment.

Even though the whole palace except the square is closed for restoration (who knows when that will start), we got lucky somehow to enter and visit the whole palace. I must say, a beauuuutiful one. Very very impressive.
Hope it will open soon for public and the restoration will not overwhelm the originality.

The place is situated between Sariska- alwar highway and a must visit for adventure lovers. There is approx. 5 kms walk and then you have to climb the hills. Lord shiva temple is situated in the hilltop from where you can enjoy the picturesque view around.
Must visit.

Located on the first floor of the City Palace, Alwar, the museum could have been a great attraction, had they kept up with the times in terms of maintenance and lighting improvement.
The entrance ticket costs Rs 20 per head for Indians. Unfortunately, they do not have any leaflet or handout whatsoever which contains information on the museum or the exhibits. No guides available. You are just supposed to walk around, take a look at the exhibits, and leave.
The museum is divided into three halls. The first hall has some general exhibits, including two beautiful sculptures of a lion and an elephant, a stuffed tiger, a stuffed leopard and some other stuffed animals which belonged to the royal family. Also on display are some other artifacts and musical instruments dating to the historical times. Costumes of the royals are also on display. The lighting, though, is poor and not good for photography, By the way, photography is apparently prohibited, because the moment one of the attendants see you clicking a picture even on your cellphone, they would yell that it is not allowed.
The second hall is dedicated to art and there are some interesting artwork and paintings to be seen there. However, lighting is even worse here.
The third hall is the armoury section, which has on display some interesting weapons from ancient times, including muskets, handguns, swords etc.
Overall, nice but nothing spectacular. Can give it a miss if you are pressed for time.

Once home to Alwar's rulers now Alwar City Palace is government offices. You can still see the bones of a magical lost past and the Sagar Tank, pavilion and the basic architecture remains unchanged.
A lovely wander through history, sadly it's not being upkept and is slowly falling into disrepair.
