Been here twice. There is more than enough to keep you amused for 3 hours. The hot water pools are great even in winter! There are also steam and normal saunas, chill out rooms, jacuzzi's etc. Great place to visit.

Aigle Castle

Quite an extensive collection covering wine making and marketing. Particularly interesting is the extensive and well presented collection of wine labels. The chateau itself has been refurbished, but is still fairly basic in places, but the wine museum is the star of the show. Worth a visit if you are in the region and interested in wine.

Went to Parc Aventure with my young daughters (5 and 6). A great time was had by all. The have three courses of increasing difficulty for younger kids (4-6 years) and they were a great balance of ease and challenge. The third (and hardest) course...MoreThanks for your enthusiastic comment and congrats to your two little adventurers! See you next time at Parc Aventure, in Aigle, Sion or Signal de Bougy...

While biking we discovered this amazing place full of beautiful flowers, chickens and a variety of creative sculpting, and garden design. We were invited to visit and stay to enjoy some peace and time away. It was well received. We had a hard time to leave.

Golf de Montreux

Reviewed By MichaelD022 - Geneva, Switzerland

Had heard that this was a bit boring, posh, and just for the elderly. So we were surprised by the quality of the course and the friendly welcome we received. Yes the course is flat but the trees, the well guarded and contoured greens, and its length ensure that it is a good test of golf at least for this 12 handicapper. Beautifully manicured, we really enjoyed it. We couldn't stay for a drink but the terrasse and bar looked attractive so we will have to stop there the next time.

Le Jardin Zen

Reviewed By Hardtoplease98 - Geneva, Switzerland

I have rarely seen a more tacky attraction - although I must admit I never visited any of the other so-called attractions in the semi-industrial zones in the area. The point of the Zen garden is undoubtedly to promote the concrete buddhas and other statues that can be bought in the adjoining shop which belongs to the same owner. OK it might give people some ideas of how to design a garden but I think that charging an entrance fee is clearly a rip-off and I think the owner thought it up to avoid people just walking through his shop to admire stuff without buying anything because too expensive. Their website is very cleverly designed so that one has no idea they are situated across a rental storage place and a large agricultural warehouse. With the highway and high voltage powerlines which cross the valley only metres away it is impossible to stay zen in my book.
The photography on the website is absolutely beautiful and indeed, if one is clever, the same photographs can be had when visiting if carefully avoiding the above powerlines and the huge red metal wall of the warehouse which is called 'Images et Atmosphères' and which is a cross between shops such as the East India Company, Casa, Botanic in which I like to spend time but without having to pay.
Yes the garden itself is beautiful but the location spoils it all for me.
