I had no idea there were so many different types of tea. The factory was very interesting. It was quite educational to see how they process the tea. They have a little store where you can taste all the teas and buy the ones you like. It was a very beautiful tea plantation. I also liked seeing the rubber trees and feel the sap.

Sri Lanka Midigama Tours

Reviewed By Pascale B - Antwerp, Belgium

We booked Ranjith to drive us from Una Watuna to Uda Walawe which took about 2,5-3hours. He charged us a fair and good price for this trip. Airco van was comfortable and clean. He drove safely and chill with some music on. We had very much the impression he liked what he did. Everything went smooth till drop off. Definitely someone to call or contact if you need a just price-quality service / transport.
We booked via him to bring us from Uda Walawe to Bandarawela (Ella). This was not with Ranjith himself but with one of his friends. Apparently there has been a miscommunication between Ranjith and this new driver since the latter asked for more money in the end, because he misunderstood about our final destination and did not got the info as we had the impression. Nonetheless he understood this - we also showed him the evidence of the whatsapp correspondance - and he was not upset nor pushy towards us. Apart from this little inconvenience everything went smooth and honest. No reason not to look into the possibility of booking Ranjith though.

I attended surf school for 7 days and it was totally worth it. Thanks their good coaching system with video analysis of Surfing lessons, balance board, Surfing technique, and various speeches, I really improved my Surfing. Coaching outside and inside the water was very good, they really go into details about problems you have and always find answers to it.
Keep up the good work!

Snake Farm

Very interesting and educational. We saw numerous snakes including 3 types of Cobras and we got to hold a few none venomous snakes.
The guy was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I'm glad that the snakes are released back into the wild at Yala national park after 2 week's as I feel that the snake farm is now more a tourist attraction then a place for research.
The only complaint I have is it was a quite distressing seeing the guy antagonize the poor cobras. He was clearly doing it for us so we could see the snake with its hood up and I felt it was a little unnecessary. I also thought that we were allowed to give a donation at the end but apparently it's a set price of 1000 rp..

The experience of the Cinnamon Experience was pleasant to the mind, the eyes and the palate full of interesting information about and around cinnamon in beautiful surroundings topped off with the wonderful intensity of Sri Lankan cinnamon. Afterwards I wondered why Sri Lanka was not as famous for its cinnamon as its tea. I would recommend the Experience to anyone.
