Hunting is not allowed on the property so the animals are trusting of us and our horses. You can see wild deer, turkeys and other animals close up during your ride. We pulled up to this farm and saw many stunning animals. The most stunning, however, was the horse that they brought out for me to ride. This scenic trail ride was picture perfect. The lead rider always was checking on the riders throughout the ride. The horses were very well taken care of and very mild mannered. This was by far, the best and my favorite trail and horse that I ever rode. Thank yo u for a wonderful summer afternoon with very nice people, and thank you to the owner who takes such great care of the animals.

Hickory Run State Park

Reviewed By Dallas1380 - Middletown, United States

I visited Hickory Run State Park with my dog to check out some trails, beautiful views and discover what nature had to offer here. It was a day well spent. A lot of walking and the trails weren't difficult at all, very manageable for dogs. Supportive shoes came in handy nonetheless. Access to Boulder Field, Sand Spring Lake, Hickory Run Chapel and Shades of Death Trail are easily accessible and within very reasonable distance of each other. There is a bathroom at the parking lot to Boulder Field but use it as last resort. I was pretty grossed out. Overall, absolutely gorgeous park. We saw many people fishing. There are plenty of spots to tuck away off of the paths to stop and catch your breath, take in the scenery or enjoy a picnic. Lake Harmony is only 13 minute drive away if interested.

It's a great place to bowl but their food is amazing. The buffalo bites are perfectly seasoned. Their pizza is delicious as is their stromboli. Highly recommend checking out their menu.

Seven Tubs Natural Area

Reviewed By DiBattista - Pottstown, United States

Seven tubs Nature area is the perfect destination for a hike in the woods. A hike on large rocks, across wooden bridges overlooking waterfalls. If you walk to the left and go to the top you can meander down all the tubs. In the summer, you slide down rocky slides in a beautiful stream with natural ‘tubs’ for swimming. You can spend 10 minutes or all day checking this out. If you are not from the area, the site will blow your mind. Be careful on the rocks and be prepared for steps and climbing. With the visit! Park rangers are available for questions- port-a-potties in parking lot. Enjoy nature!

Frances Slocum State Park

Wow, first time here and I love it!! Small boat rental, camping, picnic area and pavilions. We are here just as the leaves are turning. Plenty of easy path through the woods to follow, on the way we saw, deer tracks and deer droppings, but no deer. I guess at the right time of the year, you may even see an eagle soaring. We would definitely return to this park, and definitely recommend this park to everyone!! I hope this was helpful ????????

We love going to Hillside Farms with our family. There is so much to see and do and the kids absolutely love it! Whether it be feeding the ducks and llamas, reading to the cows, looking at the other animals, exploring the outdoors, browsing the shops, or eating the delicious ice cream - it’s always a great time. We really love getting milk there too as it’s so fresh. Hillside is a great place to spend a few hours during the spring/summer months. We love it!

Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Reviewed By adventuresabound84 - Pittston, United States

I took my 7 year old neice and 9 year old nephew and ending up having a wonderful time as well. We were not able to get in a game of dodgeball since there was another group playing, but we had so much fun we forgot about it. I would suggest kids under five going for the toddler time as the areas are for all ages. The workers were very kind and made sure we understood the rules and where to go, as it was our first time there. I can't wait to go back.
