It is well worth the effort to visit Sanson Estate Winery, We purchased 5 bottles of wine and assorted meat products all of which proved to be of the best quality and well worth the investment. We will endeavor to make another trip from Toronto to visit and purchase.

We feature Avro Lancaster and de Havilland Mosquito restoration projects, 2 flying DHC-1 Chipmunks, a Boeing Stearman and North American Harvard as well as static displays of a Fleet Fawn and CT-133 Silver Star. Visit our museum archive room and gift shop.

We had a wonderful visit to create a very inexpensive couple of hours of fun. My son (8) and I (29) went to visit the Museum and were treated to a personal guided tour with experienced staff. In my opinion the place looks a lot like a mechanics hanger as well as a historic museum and functions to teach both theory of flight, mechanics of flight, and history of military in the area. Great for tourist and Windsorites alike.

This is a must visit winery when in the area and locals should join their club! The facility and property are inviting and beautiful. They have wine tastings (of course), a gift shop, take out lunch, a sandy beach and amazing staff. They do everything right. Ignore any negative reviews about their tasting experience or arriving on a busy day. This is a well run family business that creates a very inviting experience with knowledgeable staff. Yes you might catch a busy day but that's life. I live two hours away and joined their club because Sprucewood Shores makes great wine and delivers an assortment of wines 4 times a year to members. You don't pay a high monthly or annual fee...you just pay for the wine they send you...and they offer free wine tastings to members and their guests. My girlfriend and I enjoy our visits and we thank Tanya, Dave, Melanie and Robin for making each visit warm and welcoming. Oh and btw they have been rated one of Canada's top 10 wineries.
