The Oil & Vinegar Cellar

Reviewed By sshep58464 - Bagram, Afghanistan

What a delight this shop is, we all loved it an bought several oils, vinegars, and salts. They have such a great selection and the flavors are amazing. You can sample everything they have which is both a good and bad thing because you will love it and you will end up buying so much more than you plan but it is so worth it. They also have samples of mixes that they create using their oils, vinegar, and salts that if you like them they list exactly what they used to create the flavors which you can then buy and create yourself as well. Truly, one of our favorite shops that we visited. Who knew, we thought it would be the wine tasting and buying that we would do the most of and to our delight it was the oil and vinegar shop that won our hearts. Definitely will stop there again any time we are in the area. We were there on a family trip and even my young grandson enjoyed the sampling at this place. I would say though that this is more of an adult activity in my opinion however, my grandson really enjoyed it but then we only had the one young one with 3 adults. We all had a great time though I wouldn't necessarily say this is an activity if you have a lot of young children with you.

Leavenworth Summer Theater

Reviewed By edspecial2017 - Federal Way, United States

Gilbert & Sullivans Pirates of Penzance has long been one of my favorites, This summer theater production on the Ski Hill was one of the best presentations I’ve ever seen. The costumes were delightful, and the sense of fun (almost slapstick) and the very clever choreography had the audience totally engaged. The woman who sang Mabel had an excellent voice and wonderful comedic timing. Go if you can!

My husband and I had so much fun on our wagon ride learning about the history of the land from our tour guide. We ended the ride with the best apple cider by a cozy fire. We will definitely be visiting again!

Icicle Ridge Trail

Reviewed By aradvany - Bellingham, United States

We were there on April 7th we got lucky and had a sunny day. This trail seems to open up early, virtually all the snow had melted. Water was flowing and the view at the top was spectacular. The climb itself is scenic, wide open, lots of switchbacks not a whole lot in the way of forest cover. The view from the top is spectacular. My only gripe would be road noise could not be escaped. I can't imagine how hot this trail must get in the summer.

Leavenworth Reindeer Farm

Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is a USDA licensed farm located less than 1/2 mile from downtown Leavenworth. We provide farm tours for the whole family by appointment only. Come meet our friendly reindeer, feed them and take photos of a magical experience on the farm.

Reviewed By eshaynes - Portland, United States

Make reservations on their website. We got there about 25 minutes early to check in and there were good photo opportunities. After checking in, you can feed the chickens and turkeys, have a refreshment that is provided (cookies and coca), take pictures in/around the barn. When it is your time to go, everyone meets by the fire pit for a lesson on reindeer. After that, your group goes into the pen area with the reindeer. You are given food and the reindeer come up and eat. After that they help you get a picture with one reindeer. Absolutely fantastic time!
