Travellers normally regret when they have to leave, wanting to stay a few more days. Our tours vary in length and difficulty, suiting people of all levels. Snow Dogs

We are a small family business including about 25 Siberian Huskies, grandmothers, grandfathers, our children, Bergþóra, Sæmi and more close family members. All of our dogs are friendly (sometimes a little bit to friendly...), they love to exercise and the attention they get from our guests. It is great to be out on the trail with our amazing sled dogs in the beautiful nature close by Lake Myvatn, North Iceland. In winter we offer dog sledding tours and Kennel visits, in summer we offer cart rides and kennel visits.

The Myvatn nature Baths are set in an outdoor area with hot springs contained in naturally landscaped areas where one can enjoy the baths and the scenery. They are very reasonable priced compared to the Blue Lagoon, not in a man made setting and much less crowded. They include changing rooms, showers, sauna, geothermal pools and a nice restaurant with a viewing area to eat and relax upstairs with a good view of the pools.

Dettifoss Waterfall

Reviewed By TonySwiss

One of the main attractions of the Mvatn area, this waterfall is 100 meters across, half as high, and one of the highest-volume in Europe. That said, it is not one of my absolute favourites as it is about massive power rather than good looks. Get there in the morning and a rainbow (or more than one) arches over the river downstream of the falls. There are extensive paths so you can view from different angles. If you have time, drive the gravel road 864 to see the falls from the other side of the river too; this gives you the bonus of a wonderful view down the Asbyrgi canyon.

Krafla Lava Fields

Reviewed By Tjalling01 - Groningen, The Netherlands

We, family of 4 with two young kids, had a great walk in this awesome lava field. Part of the walk is easily accessible, if you want to take the bigger loop it becomes more adventurous. Highly recommended.
