Five pooches with very distinctive personalities, and friendly owners. A fun way to spend an hour for dog lovers. They are relocating to Ayer Keroh soon, which is closer to Kuala Lumpur so do make a "pooch pit stop" on the way to Melaka, or on the way back. Woof woof!

It was a sunny afternoon and we were looking some indoor activity to spend the time. My friend saw this place from Tripadvisor. Since it's the "1st Top Thing To Do List" in Malacca therefore we gave it a try. In the beggining, we received a warm welcome from Ms. Melanie. She gave us a briefing about the rules while interacting with the huskies. Hand sanitizer is provided. Surprisingly this place is unexpectedly amazing as we are able to interact with more than 10 Siberian Huskies in a clean environment. There are staffs always duty in the area to ensure the safety of the dogs and human.Free photography service is available.Not only that, there is an education gallery available for us to understand more about the breed. In the end of the session, there are free drinks available to claim at the cafe. We would definitely come back when we are back to Malacca. Thumbs up to Melanie for the friendly service ????????

Really nice place to hang out for an hour or two. Good deals on bottled beer, lovely host and nice food. Really nicely decorated and a lovely location.

Four generations lived in the house before it was opened as a museum in March 1985. Visiting hours from 10.00am to 4.30pm every day.

This really is a wonderful piece of architectural history. It is a beautiful house of a rich family, that gives you an excellent insight to the recent past. Great pictures and furniture.

On my 1st day in Melaka , chanced upon this property as I was walking along the river. It really is wonderful to see a genuine "kampung" house inside and out! The guide/owner led us on tour around the property, giving clear, interesting details along the way. Worth a vist if you want a feel of the real Melaka and Malay culture.

Imagine yourself laid back on a shabby wooden chair, surrounded with friendly and interesting people, listening to hypnotic and meditative, yet rhytmic reggae music, sipping a (not expensive) beer, watching the calm flowing river and boats passing by filled with smiling tourist's faces. So much more than jewellery, there is something for everyone! You get to immerse yourself in the Baba Nyonya household, customs, marriage rites, ways of dress, and home life. Passionate and very knowledgable tour from Linda (in Cantonese), ever patient with my questions and she made it so fun. Highly recommend.

I have not seen pedaled tricycles as elaborately decorated and brightly lit at night as those in Melaka. Fun to look at!!! I wish their boom box is not as loud. The Dutch Square is so resplendent in its red color. It has a wind mill, a tower clock and an over 200-year old Christ Church. In this square you will find the most colorful pedaled tricycles with its owners making a living by giving tourists a fun ride. Do take rides so they will have income. Prices in Malaysia are reasonable.

Most of the wonderful little side streets and alleys lead back to the river or Jonker Street. It’s worth spending a day wandering the streets with camera and finding things hidden in plain sight.

You will probably stumble onto Dutch Square while in the old city of Melaka. It seems to be the place to be. And that's part of the appeal. I recommend going there at night and during the day. At night it's full of garishly lit tuk tuks blaring loud music carrying smiling tourist. It seems like everyone is having a great time. In the day it's still full of people, but it's less hectic. There are a lot of museums in the area that are worth ducking into to learn more about the history of Melaka. And the buildings are beautiful to look at. It's a worthwhile place to visit.
