The whole family loved it! We booked the tour departing Al Rams fishermen marina at 16:30 and enjoyed the afternoon breeze. Iftar was optional as Ramadan had started, but we did not book it. I’d recommend the tour to anyone, interested in the local tradition of pearl diving or cultivating pearl oysters. After a very green farm filled and fun 15 - 20 minute drive from the main city area we were greeted to the extraordinarily underappreciated side of Ras al khaimah that many people tend to look past; nature. The atmosphere is fresh, welcoming and beautiful, the large array of artifacts and objects displayed through out the museum, farm and buildings will give you a glimpse in to the history and beauty of rak, all whilst being surrounded by the serenity of nature, such as the corn and cucumber fields. Everyone working there is eager to help you learn and interact with all the elements available, one of my favourites were the potters, making beautiful clay pots live in front of you. Ras al khaimah has a lot to offer to any one visiting or living there, but there's more to it than just it's beautiful beach hotels, jebal jais and laid back cafe's. There's a whole other side that i believe everyone living in or visiting Ras Al Khaimah should visit and take a chance on.
