El Tajo de Ronda

Absolutely unbelievable! Dramatic cliffs and a 120m deep gorge that carries "Río Guadalevin" through its center! The canyon splits the city in two: "La Ciudad" (the Old Town) and "El Mercadillo" (the New Town) - and connecting both "towns", awesome "Puente Nuevo". From the many existing "miradores", unforgettable views and fond memories to take home. You cannot dare to miss it! Enjoy!

Natural Park Sierras de Cazorla

Myself and a very good friend went on Motorcycles through most of the Natural Park, absolutely amazing although the roads at times leave a lot to the imagination, especially on a bike when you are several thousands of feet up with very few barriers and then down again, hair pin bends and uneven road surfaces just wide enough for 2 cars passing slowly. However all that said, it was one of the most amazing trips i have been on and the sights are breath taking.

We hiked 20KM from the start to the lagoon at the top and back down, views all the way along the route are spectacular and there are plenty of places en route to stop and enjoy a swim or paddle in the river, we had our small dog with us and he loved the water stops! During the hike there is a mix of shade and sun so be prepared for the heat. Its our second visit to this route and it wont be our last.. truly memorable and if you like nature and the outdoors you will love this area!

Las Alpujarras

Andalusia's mountainous Alpujarra region features Spain's highest peak, Mulhacén, rising to a height of 3,478 meters. It provides perhaps the best walking and hiking country in Andalucia and boasts many picturesque villages for the less adventurous traveler.

Reviewed By marie19512013 - Otrokovice, Czech Republic

Last year, at the end of September we spent 5 days walking in the Alpujarras region. We visited Lanjaron, a spa centre, where we stayed in the hotel ESPANA. Also went to Treveléz, well-known for its mouthwatering curred ham jamon serrano. The village of Treveléz is the highest in mainland Spain, at 1,486m. The best of best was "Walk 6128": CAPILEIRA-BUBIÓN-PAMPANEIRA length: 3.8miles. It was a lovely sunny day, stunning views and amazing white villages.

Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata

Reviewed By PSHTraveler - Middlebury, United States

We have always wanted to visit Cabo de Gata and finally had our chance. We don't have a car while visiting Spain, so booked a tour with Costa Almeria Tours, highly recommended! (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g187429-d12500803-Reviews-Costa_Almeria_Tours-Almeria_Province_of_Almeria_Andalucia.html) The scenery is stunning, but we were surprised to find so much variety -- beautiful inland landscapes, historic sites, fishing villages, flamingos, excellent restaurants, and so on. We had only one day and hope we can return for a longer visit!
