We visited with 2 children (3 and 7) and were hosted for the visit by Victor. Having booked the tour by email at 1730 the night before the visit, we were pleasantly surprised that there was only us and another group of 2. The visit cost 12€ (Free for kids) and included a walk through the bodegas with an excellent description of how the different types of sherries are made and how they all differ in taste. It also included tasting 5 different sherries, 2 straight from the cask, which was a real novelty. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sanlúcar. Thank you to Victor for being such a great host.

A wonderful, relaxed place full of light. Owner and teacher Roksolana makes you feel comfortable from the moment you enter the studio. After practising yoga for more then a year here, I would higly recomend trying a class. This is yoga at his best! Furthermore the studio is eco-friendly, even the yogamats are 100% organic. All very clean and well ventilated. Thank you Roksolana for making every class special. Un abrazo, Marie

Artesania textil de Grazalema

We made a special trip to Grazelema to see the woollen textile factory and goods. We found it and were helped by the receptionist/sales clerk. She was very helpful and very pleasant even though there was a language barrier. Let's face it, women will find a way to communicate especially when it comes to shopping choices. I made a great choice and look forward to wearing my short Cape in the fall/winter in cooler temps. I love that this woollen garment is made here in Grazelema from the growing of the woolly sheep to the manufacturing of the garment. A perfect authentic souvenir from Spain. Note: check for siesta times of closure during the week and weekend closure so you will not be disappointed. If I remember correctly they are closed from 1:30 weekdays (siesta) and reopen later in the day and are closed from 1:30 PM on Fridays through to Monday morning when it reopens. Please check their website to make sure.

Museo y Conjunto Arqueologico Romano, Medina Sidonia

Reviewed By SMU1963 - London, United Kingdom

The entrance covers the actual museum, which has an incredible array of artefacts as well as a large section of the Ancient Roman ruins. However, it also covers a second archeological site further into the town, of a section of Ancient Roman road and pavement - complete with two game boards carved into the pavement. The staff close the main building to lead you up to the second. There are presumably few visitors, which is a shame. We were delightfully surprised at the standard and quality of the two parts. The man on the desk was wonderfully helpful and polite. A little gem of a place.
