Wow fabulous place total paradise we’re normal folk from Newcastle north east people here are lovely food is lovely ???? private beach ???? area and we had a special meal for my hubby’s 60th the head chef of kurumba thanks so much let me say the gardens surrounding the island ???? are well kept to a lovely standard I would like to say a special thanks to vimukthi chathuvanga ATHIRI 2 BAR A fantastic host to both John and I . The dive guys and captain at euro dive were fabulous also thanks ???? for everything overall this place is heaven what ever that is xx Lesley and John Woodgate

Our stay in Banyan Tree Vabinnefaru from November 2-9, 2020 has been spectacular one week to remember for ages! Everything was really above my expectations, as the this hotel and the island seem to be a real paradise: the beauty of nature and ocean, as well as the fishes and marine world - are amazing! It’s a really great place to relax, to enjoy real privacy of 5 stars true service at its best. It’s great for snorkeling: we saw turtles, sharks and stingreys and various colorful fishes you could ever imagine. Special thanks to the best instructor Hassan, who taught my 4 yo son to snorkel and to enjoy the ocean, and who made a great company for me to discover the beauty of marine world, and left us with amazing professional photos&videos for great memories! The hotel services are above expected, the stuff has been super friendly and attentive to fulfill all our wishes – from fishing with a boat to SPA-rituals to feel reborned. The food was great and various indeed served by set-menu a la-cart – with lovely Asian fusion touch, thanks to the chef Shuab. My son and I were so happy with our meals all week! I also liked the wine-list, it’s been really good. Banyan Tree concept at its best, bravo and thank you for your hospitality!!! We’ll definitely come back again!

This spa is hiding in a luxury resort of Centara ras fushi and there is so different from another area in this hotel. When I enter the spa are there is so peaceful and lots of trees surrounded to create a relaxing atmosphere. I took aromatherapy massage and it’s swing me to the moon and back!! If you like massage then you have to give this a try.

Located across the road from the fishing boats, the fish market is full of fish of all sizes and various colors. Along the right hand side, fish is filleted expertly as you watch. It's a small market so plan about 15 minutes here.

The largest mosque in male and built with donations from many Islamic countries. The surrounding area is also very clean and neat and you may spend some time here. It is allowed to enter the premises for everyone including ladies if you are not wearing revealing clothes. This is my first experience inside a mosque as it is not allowed to enter them in most of other countries. Good place to blend in with local culture and get to know a thing or two about them.

The staff (unfortunately do not know their names) were very helpful but also gave you space to browse the products without a hard sell. We were able to get lovely souvenirs for the family from this shop
