My wife and I visited for a tour. Ivana was excellent and provided a real insight into the production of real high quality olive oil. I opted for the full experience including delicious local wine cheese and meat. My wife only wanted the oils to try however we were all provided with bread and a fantastic home made tomato sauce. We also took two bottles home with us and as soon as we are able to order this oil on the UK we will be sure to place an order. All in all an excellent experience.

If you're a beer lover, then this is your place! Ring the bell of the Bura brewery and just say you're thirsty - Alessandro and Claudio will welcome you in and give you a tour of the place. Bura is a microbrewery, so don't expect much in terms of size but the team's enthusiasm and hard work will surely blow you away. It's like talking to old friends. Over beer. You can taste the Bura beers (for free) and buy it at the brewery. Keep in mind they don't accept credit cards so bring cash. A lot of it because apart from beer, they have a fair choice of Bura goodies - glasses, wooden openers, ashtrays, wooden beer cases, gift baskets, and T-shirts. (I would kill for a beach towel, though!)

Dominic was a wonderful host, our party of 10 (ranging in age from 3 to 79yrs old!) thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The family are clearly passionate about their wine, which is delicious, they are very knowledgeable about the region and wine in general. Dominic was great with the little children in our party, taking them to see their donkey and other animals and even allowing them to open the wine for us! We were also served delicious local cheeses, olives, olive oil and salami which complemented the wines brilliantly. We tasted their honey which the children particularly liked and various flavours of grappa which the adults liked! All in all a fabulous experience and excellent value for money (approx £15 per head), thank you Dominic! Highly recommended.

Well worth seeing, the mosaics in the apse of the church alone justify the entrance fee of 40 kuna. If possible, make the climb up the tower for the finest view over Porec.
