We were able to arrange a private tour of the home. Roxann was our guide and she was extraordinary. She was informative and made it interesting for me and my son. We are both history nerds and we were appreciative of her knowledge. I learned so much more about Joshua Chamberlain than I ever could have imagined. The gift shop was well stocked with books, postcards and various tidbits. I'm thankful that we could go. If you are a Civil War nerd, this is a must do.

Cabot Mill Antiques

Reviewed By TravelingMerm - Monrovia, United States

This place is a must for any antique enthusiast and well worth the trip into Brunswick! It’s massive!! Tons of stalls to explore, all with a plethora of interesting pieces - and not just full of flotsam and jetsam either! Entering the parking lot is a little weird if you’re unfamiliar with the area...I ended up circling around a couple of times - be sure to take the turn into the lot BEFORE you get to the traffic light - bc there’s no entrance after you get to the light and turn - it sneaks up fast and isn’t well marked or anything! The building itself was a marvel - a massive old Victorian looking factory or (mill I’m guessing lol)! And so many stalls! I wasn’t gonna buy anything but of course I found an old, quaint French mustard jar I just had to have lol! They do well with the Covid precautions. There are bathrooms available through the back of the store in a giant empty warehouse space also.

Flight Deck Brewing

Flight Deck Brewing opened to the public in early 2017, with the drive to provide greater-Brunswick with a destination brewery, casual social gathering space, and family-friendly venue for building our community. Located in the former Small Arms Range of the Brunswick Naval Air Station (now Brunswick Landing), our Tasting Room was named "Best in Maine" by Down East Magazine. With a constantly evolving tap list, food trucks, regular live music, and plenty of space to hang out with your dog (and/or human kids, too), we hope to see you soon!

Stopped by Flight Deck Brewing on a Monday afternoon. We really liked the brewery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beer was excellent and the food truck was outstanding as well. The décor and memorabilia are an added bonus. Definitely give it a try, we think you'll like it.
