If I could give 10 stars I would! As a Massage Therapist myself I have had the pleasure to receive many spa treatments and massages over the last 12 years, but none compare to the Mirror Lake Inn. From beginning to end I was in pure bliss. Every person who works there was beyond nice and accommodating,my therapist Sandy did a fantastic job. I recieved the 80 minute Adirondack Maple Scrub with massage which is started with an amazing scrub where you are showered off with the vichy shower (heaven) once that was finished I was taken to another room for my massage which was just as splendid as the scrub. I find that a lot of times these services seem very rushed and go by quickly, that was not the case here! I floated out of there feeling like I had been in there all day. I was so relaxed, I could not stop smiling. I cannot wait to plan my next trip to this spa, it does not disappoint!

Town of Webb Historic Association

The Town of Webb Historical Association is the home of the Goodsell Museum. We are located in a turn of the century house, which also has a barn and ice house to visit. The Museum have six room which display items showing the history of this area. Most of these exhibits change yearly. On the main floor we have an exhibit of technology as it came to the area. Another room is dedicated to taxidermy. Upstairs is a doctor's office, ca 1950's, a room telling the story of the previous owners, and two other rotating exhibits.

Delicious little cake fried donuts and made to order, so they're super fresh. The frosting (I think buttercream) is so delicious and I love all the flavor varieties. My personal favorites out of the half dozen we got were the vanilla buttercream with peanuts and the maple frosted. My husband enjoyed the cookies and cream and blueberry frosted most! Plus, there is a little gift shop attached with some great items for sale. I purchased some incense then. I wish this place was closer to our home, but I'm glad my husband and I stopped by before we headed home from our weekend away in the Adirondacks.

Visited Saturday 1/23 to grab some of our favorite basil infused olive and compliments to the young man that assisted us. Ended up getting some lemon infused white balsamic vinegar and premium white balsamic vinegar. Then saw some biscottis that are amazing! Definitely we’d to stop in if you’re in Lake Placid!!

Highly recommend if you are visiting Lake Placid ... The church was toward the end of a beautiful street in Lake Placid, only a few blocks away from the downtown area ... beautiful old church where one can feel the presence of God.
