Food & Wine station Trapan

The southeast Istrian winery, only a few kilometers SE out of Pula, only 5 minutes from the motorway (Istrian Y). We offer a range of premium wines, which all come out of our 10ha of organically farmed vineyards. Wine tastings & food pairing and much more to be seen here.

This is a husband/wife winery. Bruno is the wine maker and he offers a detailed and enthusiastic story for every wine you will enjoy. Irena is the ‘CEO’ and she ensures that you have a wonderful wine tasting experience at their winery. We were offered a great selection of 9 wines to sample. All portions were generous and we enjoyed them on their terrace, overseeing their family goat and with good company of their two cute Pomeranians. What was great about the tasting is the progression through complexity and quality of the wine. We were fortunate that some of the wine makers friends were visiting. This resulted in a very special tasting of their original vintage from 2006. We ended up buying 18 bottles to add to our cellar. This resulted in a special gift of their next product, a wonderful Syrah, signed by the winemaker. We will age this bottle for years and look forward to trying it in the years to come
